Filmmaker siblings David and Nathan Zellner have written, produced, and directed numerous short films, animations, and music videos that have screened and received awards at a variety of festivals worldwide. In 2005, they made their Sundance Film Festival debut with the short film Flotsam/Jetsam, followed by the shorts Redemptitude and Aftermath on Meadowlark Lane at the 2006 and 2007 Festivals. The Zellners are based in Austin, Texas; their previous features include Plastic Utopia (1998) and Frontier (2002).
