When I saw the publicity for this 1978 European tour by the Lionel Hampton Big Band I couldn't believe that they would all appear....but they did!. Check out the great line-up on this clip from the North Sea Jazz Festival.I was lucky enough to see them on their only UK date. The soloist here on John Coltrane's 'Moment's Notice', Paul Moen, is perhaps the least known but is a fine player(where is he now?)
