Over 100 Conservatives, including MPs, councillors and Prospective Parliamentary Candidates, have just returned from Rwanda after spending two weeks working on Project Umubano. Umubano translates as 'Friendship and Co-operation', and the aim of our Social Action project was to work alongside Rwandans to help tackle poverty and promote development. Walworth was one of London's less successful schools before being turned into an academy - but now there's a real sense of possibility and achievement here.
