we had a great dog for a short time.these are my photos of a wonderful dog...everyone should think about adopting or fostering older dogs...this is for chance and mary..we wished we had had him longer.. but thank god for the time we had.. not long after chance crossed over his other master we got him from , mary also passed . it's in our hearts there is a rainbow bridge and mary and chance are there together....and after chance there was bear dog , just 1 year too short...

I taught arts and crafts for years every Sunday, Got my Girl Scout God And Country award there. I did not sing in the choir... I can not carry a tune in a basket.. My mother has asked for this to be at her funeral.. Because she believes in me as an artist. not a dancer , not a singer but an artist.. It has more to do with an octarian [sorry folk's I am dyslexic and can can not spell l..] with Alzheimer's, who still believes in me .. .belief is the true meaning of ANY RELIGION OR PHILOSOPHY.... maudie

WHITE BIRD It's A Beautiful Day was a band formed on a beautiful day in San Francisco in 1967, and was the brainchild of violinist and vocalist David LaFlamme. David had previously been in the band Orkustra. The other members were David's wife Linda (keyboards), Pattie Santos (vocals), Hal Wagenet (guitar), Mitchell Holman (bass) and Val Fuentes (drums). The group was a bit of a latecomer to the psychedelic scene, and is often considered to have been among the "second wave" bands that emerged from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band's debut album, It's A Beautiful Day, released in 1969, featured the tracks "White Bird" (which quickly became a hit), "Hot Summer Day" and "Time Is". The vocals and violin playing of David LaFlamme plus Pattie Santos' singing drew a huge following in the Bay Area. By 1970 the original lineup of the band had changed a little (David and Linda had split up: David stayed, Linda left the band, and Fred Webb replaced her), but their next album, Marrying Maiden, released in 1970, still included some popular tracks and didn't fail to chart. The band continued to record (Choice Quality Stuff in 1971 and the live album Live At Carnegie Hall in 1972) and tour until 1974. Although they were still able to produce some very popular tunes, they failed to generate the interest they had enjoyed in previous years. In 1974, they dissolved. Sadly, Pattie Santos was killed in a car crash on December 14, 1989. It's A Beautiful Day reunited in 1997. The band still features founder David LaFlamme and original drummer Val Fuentes. They have recently completed a string of shows in 2005 and plan to continue playing in 2006 and beyond. My photos set to one of my all time favorite songs. SANTA ANA THE GROUP ANIMAL LOGIC WITH THE SONG WINDS OF SANTA ANA AND PHOTOS FROM THE INTERNET .Animal Logic was formed in late 1987 BY Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke. After auditioning hundreds of potential singer/songwriters without success, a two-song demo tape forwarded by a music publisher to Copeland of a then-unknown Deborah Holland, and her subsequent hiring, created Animal Logic. The band was orginally known as "Rush Hour" and included Police guitarist Andy Summers. Shortly after hiring Holland, who wrote nearly all the songs for the band . Summers left. Miles Copeland, also the manager for The Police eventually choose Animal Logic as the band's permanent name.The first Animal Logic album was on I.R.S./Virgin Records in 1989, the second in 1991. The band split shortly after the second CD was released, as the hoped-for major commercial success did not occur, and Clarke returned to more lucrative studio and film recording. Copeland's former bandmate Sting was at one point advertised as joining Animal Logic for a portion of their last U.S. tour, but the collaboration never in fact occurred. Animal Logic's unique sound was provided by Holland's lyrical and songwriting ability, combined with the all-star rhythm section of Copeland and Clarke. The music produced by the band can be considered as some of the most intelligent and sophisticated pop-rock offered in the past twenty years. This is my tribute to my only 2 brothers who are no longer with us and to those they left behind. They made choices in life that were not fair . They battled alcoholism and mental health and both lost the battle too soon . We grew up in a home of privilege , not wealth of money but wealth of heritage , tradition and love. They will be sorely missed by those they leave behind , children , grandchildren , parents and a sister who just can not understand..I read the same words at both funerals . MAUDIE..... My brother passed away Dec. 24. My other brother passed away just in the last few years. Parents should not outlive their children .My mother - another Maud has Ahlzheimers and like a fading rose is loosing her memories . It has effected the whole family on a daily basis . It is called the rainbow bridge because of its many colors . Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows , hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies , the pet goes to this place . There is always food and water and warm spring weather . The old and frail animals are young again . Those who are maimed or sick are made whole again . They play all day long . There is only one thing missing .They are not with their special person who loved them on earth . So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up . The nose twitches ! The ears perk up ! The eyes are staring ! And this one suddenly runs from the group barking happily for whom she sees ! You have been seen and when you take her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet . Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together , never again to be separated
