Esquivel was the king of Space Age Bachelor Pad music and this is my homage to him. My friend Dave and I were listening to his music while trying to figure out how to salvage a weekend of filming gone wrong. With only a few rolls of film to spare we called up some friends and had them meet us in Coney Island. The rest is history. Enjoy, baby!

Two roommates go to Coney Island shortly before going off to war in Iraq. The first war in Iraq that is. This film was made for my friend's film class. But what started out one Friday night as his film project became a work of collaboration between him (John Garafallo), myself and my roommate, Teal. Some friends showed up and we began to film them. Then we got an idea to go to Coney Island and film there, too. Once in the editing room the film took shape. I threw out some ideas on how to create a story around the footage. You'll notice there never was a draft, but at the time we all thought the possibility existed. While the film is much different than the real events of that weekend, it is how I always will remember it. Shot in the fall of 1990 in NYC. Filmed by Teal, myself and John. Enjoy!!
