Between 1968 and 1972, nine American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon, and 12 men walked upon its surface. They remain the only human beings to have stood on another world. In the Shadow of the Moon brings together for the first, and very possibly the last, time surviving crew members from every single Apollo mission which flew to the Moon, and allows them to tell their story in their own words.

L.A. Stand Up! This is what we were supposed to be. But who am I kidding, not like I'd make it out enough to get all these really, really good rollerbladers from all around L.A. on film. But hey, a boy can dream can't he? You know, this reminds me. It's always better the second time around. Remember that kids.

Despite all my bullshit criticisms don't doubt that this video isn't worth watching. One section that was particularly impressive was Marc Johnson's profile. This guy's tech with mad style and creativity. My favorite section of the video by far. Since I'm hardly a proponent of skateboarding intellectual property rights I thought I'd post my favorite section for you guys to see and comment on. I'm off to go finish editing now...

Now it just so happens, my favorite section in the video isn't even part of the main feature. It's in the bonus section. So yeah... here we go again. You're the man Richie!

In this case it happens to be a clip of Thanh skating this ledge that's now been destroyed by the likes of Ian and Conner. Be sure to keep an eye out for this ledge in Conner's new video. I heard Ian caught some clips on this puppy.

I thought I'd leave you with a video of Frank Gehry talking about the Walt Disney Concert Hall. This video comes from a really great documentary on Gehry by Sidney Pollack titled "Sketches of Frank Gehry". I have to say I somehow ended up a fan of Frank's work. I say somehow, because everywhere I travel to I end up seeing his architecture and it's kinda grown on me. I had an opportunity to meet him at a book signing recently and can assure you he's definitely a character. Pick up the DVD if you're interested in architecture. Even if you're not a Gehry fan, there's information in here not to be missed.

I was also one of the many who attended Banksy's wherehouse exhibit in Los Angeles. Some of you may have already seen photos of the event on other websites. I was smart enough to bring my camera as well, and have some video I shot at the event. Check it out, it's a geekrolling exclusivestm.com
