After watching the Matrix Trilogy once again the other day I was inspired to create a Compilation of the best parts from each of the films. I was going to make it one video but decided because there was so many awesome parts I will make one for each movie. This took around an hour to edit, not long and wasn't meant to be added with cool effects or anything, just a video showing off the best of the Matrix since there were many awesome slow/fast motion scenes and fight scenes. You also may notice a few frame drops/jitters, I had a lot of problems rendering and then had to render in to 5 separate parts and it was a handful getting it all to work but when I did there were a few problems, jut ignore them. http://www.dillonp23.net/thegangsterz High Quality Version: http://www.dillonp23.net/the.gangsterz.mp4 This is another action movie the crew at Dillonp23 Productions has put together, more action packed, fight scenes, suspense and length than our previous quite popular film 'Rush'd Hour'. This one took around 7 filming days (half were only 1 hour filming days after school). The film is actually not 100% completed, with a few loose ends due to lack of time, weather conditions, actors being sick/busy etc. Enjoy the movie as what it is, and not what it could of been. This was another unscripted, and barely planned movie, so most is on the spot and for no planning in advanced this turned out alright. The next film we make will be fully planned out, start to finish with a lot more talking, a better storyline and we will even write up a storyboard so it is all planned out. A matter in fact we are starting the story now and may film next holidays! Thanks for all the actors for showing up, I know it was bloody freezing some of the days and annoying filming so many days but it was well worth it. There are many mistakes, which I even picked up and as I said earlier a few loose ends which I am aware of. Google has released a new feature for Google Maps allowing you too look around as if you were standing at the location. You can pan around 360 degrees, virtually move around the streets and even zoom in and out. Type in your location then click on the 'street view' link to bring it up. It is a very simple to use feature, with amazing possibilities. I use this a lot to find good locations to film movies in, but this can be used in the wrong way as well. Sometime number plates, people, cars and houses can be clearly seen causing a concern of privacy. This feature hopefully will stay up but if not make the most of it now. It's finally here, the new short action film by Dillon Pearce and his Crew. It was filmed with my new Canon HV20 and I will upload high quality (.mov so you will need quicktime) version of it on my website once it is finished. I bought a $200 microphone and a wide angle lens for my camera but haven't received them yet unfortunately. The script we originally had planned didn't quite work out since some actors couldn't make it, so we needed to make one up on the spot a little. We ended getting one done and just need more time to film. At this moment there is 3 days left until school and I am busy all of the days working so might need to finish on the weekend so may not be up for a few weeks. I was filming 90% of it, so there will be more camera moves and makes the video more interesting. Hope you enjoy the movie, and straight after this one we will plan the next one which will guaranteed be more professional and a better since we will have a full script including a storyboard and rehearse the scenes more. We went to the City in Melbourne for 5 days (had to catching a train there and back each day) and visited some amazing places in Melbourne. We went to Syn FM and had the chance the host our own radio show (I was the Board Operater, fading in the music etc which was pretty fun). Visit the Magistrates Court, Parliament House, MCG, Botanical Gardens, Eureka Tower and a few other cool places. The Eureka Tower is the tallest residential building in the world and the tallest building in Melbourne.
