Como es una costumbre en Radio Universal , especificamente en el programa de "El club de los Beatles" Enrique Rojas nos regala la traducción de la canción "I'll be back" de Lennon. "I'll Be Back" is a John Lennon composition credited to Lennon & McCartney, and recorded by The Beatles for the soundtrack LP to their film "A Hard Day's Night". Lennon ostensibly created the song around the chords (but not the melody) of Del Shannon's "Runaway" which had been a UK hit in April 1961. Author Bill Harry wrote: "He [Lennon] just reworked the chords of the Shannon number and came up with a completely different song". With its heart-rending lyric and flamenco style acoustic guitars, "I'll Be Back" has a tragic air. The song oscillates between major and minor keys, appears to have two different bridges (transition themes) and does not have a chorus. The fade-out ending is unexpectedly sudden, seeming to arrive half a verse prematurely. Music journalist Robert Sandall wrote in Mojo Magazine: "'I'll Be Back' was the early Beatles at their most prophetic. This grasp of how to colour arrangements in darker or more muted tones foreshadowed an inner journey they eventually undertook in three albums' time, on Rubber Soul". Producer George Martin preferred to open and close Beatles albums (and sides) using dominant material. He wrote: "Another principle of mine when assembling an album was always to go out on a side strongly, placing the weaker material towards the end but then going out with a bang". With this in mind, "I'll Be Back", with its subdued perspective, could be considered an unexpected choice as the album closer. As author Ian MacDonald points out: "Fading away in tonal ambiguity at the end of A Hard Day's Night, it was a surprisingly downbeat farewell and a token of coming maturity". The Anthology 1 CD includes an early take of the song in 6/8 time, before John Lennon fumbles over the words in the bridge, complaining on the take that "it's too hard to sing." A subsequent take, also included on Anthology, is performed in the 4/4 time used in the final take. Lewis Carroll es el seudónimo por el que es conocido en la historia de la literatura Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Daresbury, Cheshire, 27 de enero de 1832 - Guildford, Surrey, 14 de enero de 1898), sacerdote anglicano, lógico, matemático, fotógrafo y escritor británico, conocido sobre todo por su obra Alicia en el país de las maravillas. Impacto de Alicia en la cultura[15] [editar]La novela ha inspirado numerosas obras de teatro, pantomimas, musicales, ballets y óperas, entre otras manifestaciones artísticas. La naturaleza de estas obras varía desde adaptaciones relativamente fieles a la obra de Carroll; hasta obras completamente nuevas que toman como base a los personajes, situaciones o escenarios creados por Carroll. Del mismo modo, Alicia y sus personajes han inspirado canciones y videoclips de artistas como The Beatles, Tom Waits y Tom Petty. En 1969, Salvador Dalí hizo trece ilustraciones basadas en Alicia en el país de las maravillas. Alicia también ha sido fuente de inspiración para numerosas obras literarias. La idea la saqué de La Morsa y el Carpintero, de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. A mí me parecía un poema hermoso. Nunca se me ocurrió que Lewis Carroll se refiriera al sistema capitalista. Nunca intenté descifrar el significado, que es lo que hace la gente con la obra de The Beatles. Al cabo de un tiempo volví a leer el poema y me di cuenta de que la Morsa era la mala y el Carpintero el bueno. Pensé: «Oh, mierda, me he equivocado de personaje». Pero entonces no habría sido lo mismo, ¿no? «I am the carpenter...» La morsa y el carpintero El sol salió para mandar cálido su fulgor, y en ese día de calor la luna iba a brillar. Y como el sol también brilló pudimos observar... A un carpintero que a pasear con una morsa fue, le sorprendió el encontrar arena junto al mar. Señor Morsa, yo calculo que en un año por lo bajo barreremos esta arena si le agrada a "usté" el trabajo. ¡Trabajo! Es tiempo ya... -¿De descansar? ...tirados junto al mar. Efectivamente Sergio Zurita reapareció en la radio mexicana en el programa de Martha Debayle que se transmite de lunes a viernes de 12:00 a 14:00 hrs. por W Radio. La razón fué que Martha Debayle tuvo como tema el mundo de los espectáculos en México, y para ello invitó a Paty Chapoy y Daniel Bisogno de Ventaneando, Sergio Zurita de La Taquilla y Lupita Martinez de Mi Guía. Tambien había invitado a Juan Jose Origel pero no pudo ir por que estaban en cierre con Tv y Novelas, aunque dudo que haya sido por eso con Paty ahí, Martha Figueroa tambien no quiso ir por Paty y Sergio, y Rene Franco quien canceló de última hora por que se anda mudando. Hace ya muchos años (1993) y en un regreso fugaz por la venida de Paul McCartney a México, Grupo radio Centro introdujo nuevamente en la Radio AM la estación Radio exitos (que transmitio a Los Beatles por años en esta ciudad), con la participación del comentarista de los 4 FABULOSOS en la FM en "Radio Universal" , nos referimos claro a Enrique Rojas. Aqui una parte de ese programa. Surgiendo a finales de los 60's Alex Lora y su grupo originalmente llamado Three Souls in my Mind, se convirtió en el grupo pionero de rocanrol original en español. En sus inicios la mayoría de sus composiciones fueron echas en inglés. En su tercer álbum decidieron componer sólo en español pues era importante que la gente entendiera el mensaje de sus canciones. Cantando en su lenguaje original Alex Lora le dio su propia identidad al rocanrol hecho en México convirtiéndose en su bandera(¿?). En 1971 participaron en el festival de Avándaro (nuestro "Woodstock Mexicano") al cual asistieron más de trescientas mil personas, concierto que hizo historia en México, al igual que en la trayectoria del grupo. A pesar de todas las barreras que Alex Lora y su grupo tuvieron que afrontar fueron ganando un gran número de seguidores abriéndose paso a todo tipo de gente y clases sociales; la música de esta legendaria(¿?) banda llegó a todos los rincones de México convirtiéndose en un fenómeno social. Después de 15 años deciden adoptar el nombre con el que su fans siempre los llamó EL TRI . Aunque Rockdrigo compuso la canción "Metro Balderas" para el sector ilustrado de clase media, Alex Lora y el Tri rehicieron la canción y la incluyeron en el álbum El Tri... Simplemente (lanzado en mayo de 1985) y la versión alcanzó una gran popularidad entre los jóvenes de clase obrera. "El unico rockero , que no sirve para nada"

The rooftop performance The original concept for the film project called for the documentary to end with a live show, the first live public performance by the band since the end of their last tour, on August 29, 1966, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. However, agreeing on a format for the live show proved problematic. Paul McCartney suggested playing a small club, like the Beatles had in the early days. John Lennon suggested an overseas location such as Africa (although he also expressed a sarcastic desire to perform the show in an asylum). Ringo Starr held out for staying home in England. George Harrison showed little enthusiasm for any live performance at all. After failing to agree on any other venue, the band settled for an unannounced concert atop their own building, Apple's headquarters in Savile Row near Piccadilly Circus. The Beatles, accompanied by Preston, performed on January 30, 1969 — intercut in the film with interviews of some rather surprised Londoners near the Apple headquarters as the music blasts out from the roof. The performance and the film close with the police arriving and shutting the concert down. The rooftop concert has been a popular bootleg ever since, and was to be the final public performance by the Beatles. The Beatles played five songs during the rooftop performance: "Get Back" (three times), "Don't Let Me Down" (twice), "I've Got a Feeling" (twice), "One After 909", and "Dig a Pony" (The Beatles also played a brief version of the British national anthem, "God Save the Queen" and a brief rehearsal of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" while second engineer Alan Parsons was changing tapes. Those performances were omitted from the film). After the final song, McCartney is heard to say, "Thanks, Mo!" acknowledging the enthusiastic applause and cheering from Maureen Starkey. Then Lennon closes with the well-known remark, "I'd like to say 'thank you' on behalf of the group and ourselves, and I hope we passed the audition!" This exchange was spliced on to the end of the Let It Be album.

"Dance Tonight" is a song by Paul McCartney and the opening track to his 2007 album Memory Almost Full. The song was released as a download single from Memory Almost Full in the United Kingdom on June 18, 2007: McCartney's 65th birthday. A week later, the song debuted at number 34 in the UK Singles Chart. On July 1, the song rose to number 26 in the UK charts. The song is also nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards. In the United States, it was released as the second single, and "Dance Tonight" reached number 33 on the iTunes Store charts, continuing to rise in popularity. The song also debuted in Billboard's Hot 100 at number 69. McCartney performed the song live as a duet with Australian singer Kylie Minogue on Jools Holland's 2007 New Year's Eve television special Hootenanny. Music video A music video for the song was directed by Michel Gondry and features Natalie Portman and Mackenzie Crook. Gondry also appears as the drummer in the concluding shots. The video was posted exclusively on YouTube on May 22, 2007. Although Paul receives the left-handed mandolin used for the song in the mail in the music video, McCartney reveals in the audio commentary on this track, released as part of the deluxe edition of Memory Almost Full, that he bought it from a guitar shop he frequents in London. Whenever he would play the mandolin, his three-year-old daughter Beatrice would be moved to dance, after which McCartney states that the song "wrote itself" and he included it on the album at the last minute. The song is also included in an iPod + iTunes advertisement featuring a black and white McCartney walking down a colourful, animated street while performing the song. It saw frequent airplay in summer 2007. Originally the single was to be released simultaneously via download, 7" and CD, but the release was scaled back to just a download on June 18, 2007. According to the official album website, a picture disc 7" will be released in the UK on July 23, 2007, while the CD will be released internationally on a date to be announced. The song still managed to chart in the United States, despite not being released in any form there, except an acoustic version available on iTunes from the Summer of Love 1967 double issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Como era de imaginarse las reacciones sobre la salida del aire del programa "La Taquilla" no se hicieron esperar , no estan muy bien grabados (uno por estar en el AM y de los otros lo que se alcanzo a sintionizar) siendo el peor comentario el de la que evidentemente le dolia más que el programa fuera el más escuchado, ovio me refiero al de Maxine Woodside y su sequito de .... (mejor nos reservamos los calificativos) y un comentario del Mismo René en su programa de TV Extraido del excelente sitio de oticias del espectaculo "http://cyberholocausto.wordpress.com/" la opinión de Susana Moscatel: "...A mí me impactó muchísimo saber que el programa de radio La taquilla terminaba. No sólo por los años que trabajé ahí, sino porque sé que era un programa brutalmente exitoso en todo el país. Pero en los medios el éxito en rating no necesariamente quiere decir negocio para todos y lo que dijo René Franco fue completamente cierto: simple y sencillamente no llegaron a un acuerdo económico con MVS Radio. Así de fácil, sin villanos ni planes macabros de nadie. Por el hecho de haber trabajado ahí me llegaron muchos correos de los fans y honestamente debo decir que hay muchos seguidores (y varios columnistas) que están demasiado apegados a las teorías de la conspiración. Mi favorita fue "Primero Carmen Aristegui, luego Gutiérrez Vivó y ahora La Taquilla", como si esta fuera una conspiración del gobierno para callarlos a todos. Hay columnistas que aseguraron que el programa terminó por sugerencia de gobernación. ¡Por favor! Se dijo la verdad y pocos están dispuestos a creerla. Lo que sí es cierto, y me consta, es que La taquilla era parte de la vida de miles de personas que la extrañaran mucho y sé que talentos enormes como el de Sergio Zurita (quien por cierto tiene una obra en La Gruta del Teatro Helénico) siempre encontraran un buen lugar para explayarse. Hace años que yo no tengo el menor contacto con nadie en ese programa, pero puedo decir con plena seguridad de que en su momento cambió la radio (sino el periodismo) de espectáculos en México. Tal vez por eso, en una nota más personal, lo que queda es decir "gracias", por todo lo que aprendí en su momento de La taquilla. Si René, Sergio, Horacio e Hilda Isa Salas quieren, seguramente los estaremos escuchando pronto en otro espacio."
