Part 11. To prevent the video uploads from getting too long winded, the coverage will stop here, with this video. The actual coverage itself may have gone on for another hour, or two. After this, the tornado threats mostly become centered around rural areas, and the biggest threat turns into flooding, with the tornado threat ending, for sure, sometime around seven o'clock, that evening. This KMBC footage was put up by request... If you have any requests, to see another local news channel's severe weather coverage, private message me, and let me know. The most requests will result in more videos like this, with that particular station. Reminder: I, mostly, only get news feed for the Kansas City metro area, so therefore, I will not take requests for Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, Columbia, Wichita, St. Louis, or St. Joseph based news stations. Out of state severe weather coverage is out of the question, unless I happen to catch coverage of Chicago based severe weather, as I DO, for some reason, get WGN... I still don't know why this is... Don't fully expect me to do this, though, as I never keep track of Chicago's weather.

Man, what an unexpectedly eventful day. This event was a combination of really scary and really cool. As per request, this severe weather coverage is from KMBC TV, with meteorologists Erin Little and Brian Busby.

Lots and lots and lots and lot and *smacks self* lots of rain is expected, through out the metro area. So much so, that the area is under a flood watch until Saturday.

Isn't it weird, when the weather is really, really nice in your area, and you end up hearing the Storm Alert music, anyway?

I'm happy to upload this, and share it with you; this is a song I've been tracking down for months.

First of all, I want to give a million and one 'thank you's to YouTube user 'burgundyyears' for sending me this mp3. I can't thank you enough! This is the song, Where Are You Now?, by Dan Siegel, and co-written by Patrick O'Hearn. It's from the 1984 album 'Another Time, Another Place', and is extremely rare. This song was also heard on The Weather Channel, from, I believe, 1990 to 1991.

1st video: Starts in late, I wasn't expecting there to be a Trammel error. This song is Season on the Edge. 2nd video: Kansas City has finally hit 100ºF for the first time in a year. This song is Rainy Days, also by Trammel Starks (thanks LFMusicRocks!) The video cutting in late is the reason why, I've decided to show you TWO videos, instead of the usual one. Enjoy!

Taken at the time specified in the title. I honestly can't remember if the severe weather ever materialized, in our neck of the woods, but it sure did far north of us. Song is 'Happy Thoughts', by Paul Coleman and Cortez Brown. Thanks ccrimsonfox! I forgot to watermark the video... So there's an everlasting video annotation on it, instead.

From the 1980s, though I don't know when, exactly. Pat says a few words about drinking and driving... maybe some people should start to listen.
