My interpretation of a song introduced to me many years ago by my beloved spouse (who has also graciously provided the translation for the Norwegian lyrics ... which, if you're curious, appear on the CD in dialect, exactly as they've been transcribed here). The photos I've used were all scavenged during the course of an extensive web search, and reflect various areas of Scandanavia and, likewise, various modes of Sami cultural dress.
