This fresh DVD release (multimedia presentation) presents the vastly versatile information about Maqamat in a very simple and unique way. Well, one would probably ask, what would this DVD offer differently from other resources, aside from the fact that it sums up many facts regarding Maqamat in a single package?
Well it not only presents the scale of a Maqam (sequence of tones), but also it discusses how it's "soul and personality" is to be exposedd !!
See, a single sequence of tones can be tackled differently to present a certain "Maqam" personality from its resembling Maqams (Transposes/Tasaweer).
Some of the things I've also tackled in this DVD are some subtle advanced issues about Maqamat, in the form of explanatory videos as well as schematics and text.
