It's the Neo Universe video with the Cyberdam-style karaoke. Hence why it sounds like a midi. Sing along! I put the kanji up there because a lot of Japanese folks might be singing it at our upcoming regular karaokes. It wasn't to look pretentious.

This was much harder to edit together than Rusty Nail. The concert version went on for ages (I was at the Tokyo Dome, singing along!),so I had to make many cuts to match the instrumental album track to what's happening on the screen. Anyway, here it is. Kurenai in real, non-midi glory. SING, damn you! SING!

For those who, like me, love X! Now you can sing it from the comfort of your own home. No anime fansub-style fancy unreadable font or floating, distracting, unsingable namby-pamby text here. Just readable SINGING! Now sing, damn you, sing! I used the instrumental version of the song, with the 2008 "Hakai no Yoru" concert footage. I had to do a little video editing, as the live version and album version are different lengths, so I had to work some magic to get Yoshiki's last drum hit to coinicide with the end of the song. I also added the hihats, explosion noise and crowd cheer at the start for effect (from the concert recording). The rest is just the original backing track, minus Toshi's voice. Enjoy!

Part one of the THE RISE AND FALL OF ANIME FANSUBS - a documentary I compiled over half a year. Enjoy it, agree with it, or be enraged by it... but you cannot deny the academic points it makes! ...INCIDENTALLY... that opening sequence took bloody ages to make, so do watch it at least fifty times if you can. Thanks. Lol I think it shows the beautiful things you can do with parallax scrolling (anyone remember the sea in the background of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game?).

Davros is less than impressed with what Russell has done to the show, it seems.

Well, here's a short film showing the differences between classic Doctor Who and Russell T. Davies' new vision of the show. Fans of the new one might be surprised to see just how much death and violence there was in the old show. Times were certainly different back then. Music: "Redemption" (instrumental version) by Gackt. "Longing" (instrumental version) by Gackt. "Madame De Pompadour" from the 2006 Doctor Who soundtrack.

Hawk the Slayer, from 1980. A masterpiece. As these clips will show. I especially like the little theme tune that plays EVERY TIME HE DOES ANYTHING. Also, he looks like Chris de Burgh, of "Lady in red" fame. See how it glows!

The sixth Doctor showing mercy and forgiveness. Seriously, have you seen the wussy new series? I bet none of the "new" fans remember how cool the Doctor used to be.

For animators wanting to animate big ships, for artists wanting to draw massive fleet battles, and for film makers wanting to see some inspiration - this is for you. Basically, a collection of the biggest and most well-drawn ships I could find, all stuck together in one place for easy access and with some nice music so you don't get too bored. Star Wars is reknowned for having the best space battles in history, and this should also hopefully show that Japanese animation (the golden age 80s-90s stuff, when it looked amazing. Unlike the poorly-scrawled, detail-less digital rubbish they pass off as anime these days) holds its own in terms of sheer scale and ridiculously detailed art (oh, and some ridiculously nice animation, too). You certainly won't be seeing anything this nice in modern anime, and that's for sure. If you like the look of any of the stuff you see here... get down to a rental shop and watch them! Here's what you see on this video: Music: Ozzy Osbourne - "My Jekyll Doesn't Hide." Gackt - "Death Wish." Video: Project A-Ko (movie, 1986) Gunbuster (not the poor-looking new one) - (video series, 1988) Gall Force - Eternal Story (Movie, 1986) Gall Force - Destruction (Video, 1987) The Empire Strikes Back (Movie, 1980) Return of the Jedi (Movie, 1983) Macross - Do You Remember love? (Movie, 1984) Macross II - Lovers Again (Video, 1992) Sol Bianca (Video, 1990) Babylon 5 (1994)

Davros, from the original Doctor Who, gives the greatest speeches in known history. He's an inspiration to us all. He's been played by the actor Terry Molloy for over 20 years now. Of course, Russel T. Davies, director of the new, child-friendly and non-violent Doctor Who, is once more showing what "huge" respect for the original show he has by saying "F@*k you" to Terry, and getting one of his no-doubt actor mates Julian Bleach to play him instead. FOR NO REASON. Much as he did with The Master. And like Michael Bay did with the proper voice of Megatron.

I watched the 80s movie "The Sword and the Sorceror" the other day, and was amazed at what a great bread advert this scene would make. Bear in mind that I haven't changed the music or slowed the footage down or anything. This is actually what it looked like in the film.

Here's something I put together to demonstrate the Daleks kicking large amounts of ass through the ages, with clips from the two 1960s Dalek movies, all the way through to the latest 2006 series of Doctor Who. The music is Destroy All by Static-X. Seemed appropriate... Oh, and it's mainly dedicated to the great Roy Skelton, the voice of the Daleks from 1967-1988. And yeah, there are clips of Daleks levitating up stairs in this, from 1988. They could do it that early.

Here he is. The greatest man. What a guy. Who knows the answer to the enigmatic question: "What are you two jokers up to?" This amazingly camp yet extremely cool rifle dude is from the excellent movie Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150AD.
