However, when Randy goes to college and meets his roommate, Jay Benton (Shane Daniels), the two begin to discover prejudice for the first time. As Jay begins to fall for Kiera, tension builds as Jay's cousin, a gang leader named Hayden (Arie Mangrum) tries to take control of Jay's family (Darlene and Donnie Thomas). He will go to all measures to uphold his family's honor and stop Jay's relationship, by any means necessary.
