The Phalanx CIWS (Close-in weapon system) or "Sea-whiz" is a naval shipboard weapon system for detecting and destroying incoming anti-ship missiles and enemy aircraft at short range. The gun fires 3000+ rounds per minute. This was a firing demonstration on board the USS Enterprise CVN-65.
