a small demo of the FT857d radio in use. myself in QSO with G0OMH 01.03.2008. fiddling with the screen color & adjusting the RF level. the AGC is set at FAST. the DSP filter is on & the SSB filter is set to the factory Ceramic .. although ive fitted the Collins SSB filter it was not in use. the audio was direct to dvd .. no mics. the video was shot using our Hitachi MV750E dvd camcorder. u can compare the radios.
