Minhaj Welfare Foundation is a multi-dimensional religious and cultural movement striving hard for promoting Islamic social and cultural values round the globe. Beside that, it is also helping the poor and the needy to come out of poverty and is unfolding new aspects of healthy life to them.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation provided an encouraging opportunity to the young guys and girls for getting married at very low cost. It was celebrated in a huge gathering held at the Central Secretariat of MQI on the 6th of May 2007. 23 couples benefited from the opportunity and started their new lives. The ceremony was really suit to the occasion. They have arranged bands to exalt and magnify it. They have also arranged a big feast of Walima to entertain the guests who came to share the joys of young couples.
Aqil Malik, Nazim Minhaj Welfare Foundation, told the vast majority of people that it cost the Foundation almost one hundred thousand rupees on the gift to one couple. He also told the names of the couples with their native town and cities they belong to the audience. He said that the couple belonged to Lahore, Sawwabi, Rawalpindi, Manga Mundi, Jhang, Naarung Mandi, Okara, Muzzafar Abad, Pak Pattan Sharif, Gojar Khan, Deepalpur and Larkana.
منہاج ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے زیراہتمام اجتماعی شادیوں کی عظیم الشان تقریب مؤرخہ 6 مئی 2007 بروز اتوار مرکزی سیکرٹریٹ ماڈل ٹاؤن لاہور کے بالمقابل گراؤنڈ میں منعقد ہوئی جس میں ملک بھر سے غریب اور نادار خاندانوں کے 23 جوڑوں کی شادی کا اہتمام کیا گیا تھا۔ فی شادی ایک لاکھ روپے کے حساب سے 23 لاکھ روپے کے اخراجات ہوئے۔ پنڈال کو خوبصورتی سے سجایا گیا تھا اور بینڈ باجے کا بھی انتظام موجود تھا۔ سینکڑوں مہمانوں کے لئے بہترین کھانے کا اہتمام کیا گیا تھا۔ تقریب میں شریک ہونے والے جوڑوں کا تعلق لاہور، صوابی، راولپنڈی، مانگا منڈی، اوکاڑہ، مظفر آباد، مرید کے، پاکپتن، گوجر خان، جھنگ، نارنگ منڈی، مانسہرہ، دیپالپور اور لاڑکانہ سے تھا۔ اس پروقار تقریب کی صدارت ناظم اعلیٰ ڈاکٹر رحیق احمد عباسی نے کی۔ تقریب کے دوران صدر دارالافتاء منہاج القرآن مفتی عبدالقیوم خان ہزاروی نے 23 جوڑوں کے نکاح کا اعلان کیا اور وضاحت کی ہر جوڑے کا نکاح علیحدہ علیحدہ کرایا گیا ہے۔
