Myself and a few Ron Paul compatriots were interviewed today on our local Fox 7 News affiliate and our NBC affiliate here in Evansville, Indiana. This is the Fox News at 6:00 coverage. In an effort to make the best of a bad situation, we went to first see if we could help in any way, and were at least able to get Ron Paul in the local news for the first time. Thanks to Fox 7 WTVW in Evansville for their fair and sympathetic coverage. Don't know if I can exactly say the same for our NBC affiliate. They obviously had an agenda in their coverage and made several mistakes in their coverage, including saying that the man they interviewed who lost $5000 was suing the Liberty Dollar, which is NOT true! He was actually joining a class action lawsuit to sue the Federal Government. That broadcast can be found among my other videos.

More than 20 Palestinians have died in the Gaza Strip as Israel unleashed military strikes and troops moved into the centre of the territory. A journalist was also killed in the attacks. It makes 16 April one of the deadliest days in Gaza for weeks. But army leaders say the operations were routine and aimed against fighters suspected of launching rockets into southern Israel. Someone informed me they called WFIE 14, the NBC affiliate responsible for this bad reporting and they claim, at least, they will correct the mistakes in a future follow up story. Let's hope they do.

For a fourth day running, Pakistani troops have attacked tribal villages near the border with Afghanistan. The attack came in an area controlled by a local leader who cracks down on mobile phone ring tones and will not let women go shopping on his own. Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from the Khyber region where the ongoing operation helping to draw attention to the plight of women.

Police on Anglesey today executed four warrants under misuses of drugs act. Two of the raids were carried out in properties in Holyhead, one was carried out in RAF Valley and one was in Llanddeusant. They were all undertaken in response to intelligence received from members of the public. As a result of the operation a woman has been arrested and bailed for possession of class A drugs. Items have also been seized for further examination. Following the raids PCSO's distributed leaflets in the vicinity of the addresses to provide community reassurance and also to seek further information. Anyone who with information regarding drug dealing is urged to contact North Wales Police on 0845 6071001 (Welsh language), 0845 6971002 (English language) or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

22/july/2008 Air Force launched an air strike on a LTTE leaders training facility located in UDAYARKATTIKULAM, MULLAITTIVU this morning (22) around 8.15am.At least 24 LTTE suicide cadres who are known as 'Black Tigers' and an instructor was reported killed and over 30 injured in the air raid carried out this morning (July 22) at the Uddayarkattukulam LTTE camp located in the Mullaitivu district. According reports, today very early in the in the morning, a squadron of Kfir and MiG fighters took off after a briefing by their superiors Their target was a well-fortified Black Tiger training base at Udayaarakattikulam, which remains heavily camouflaged. This base is out of bounds for ordinary cadres. Only dedicated and highly motivated cadres and their instructors could gain admission. Males and females undergo training here. Their passing out parade was to be held by the end of this month, said a credible source from Kilinonochi After they had their breakfast they were given a lecture by their instructor. Some of cadres were rehearsing committing suicide in the base at time of the air bombardment At that very moment the jet planes flew over the area and flew down towards the target and dropped bombs, killing Tiger cadres and an instructor and injuring many. LTTE is the terror outfit that pioneered the suicide bombing tactics to the world. The outfit has been using brainwashed youth, mostly women and teenagers to commit suicide as human bombs. LTTE select these youths from orphanages or recruit those who have undergone gender or cast discrimination promising them to redeem their dignity by dyeing for the cause. There were also reports that LTTE supporters in Tamil Nadu had supplied scores of women to be trained as suicide cadres on payment of hefty amount to the families of those women who offered to be trained as suicide cadres.

Este es un pequeño homenaje para aquellos camiones españoles PEGASO que muchos niños veíamos alucinados en los resúmenes de la TVE a mediados-finales de los 80 participando en el Paris-Dakar y en otros raids y que nos hacía pensar en que algún día participaríamos en el DAKAR conduciendo un pedazo PEGASO. Lástima que pocos años después la compañía fue vendida por cuatro duros (y dicen que a cambio de alguna buena comisión política) a IVECO, la cual hizo desaparecer la marca. También lástima que muchos no hemos podido correr ese rally todavía ;) Este es mi segundo vídeo y lo he hecho debido a que en youtube no aparece ninguno de aquellos maravillosos camiones rodando en el Paris-Dakar. Las imágenes las he tomado de foros sobre camiones clásicos y de google images. Cada vez hay menos imágenes de esos Pegaso en la red...
