Pour mettre de l'ordre dans mes idées et les influences qui m'ont amenée à enregistrer "Overpowered", j'ai ressenti le besoin de revenir à Sheffield. Parrot, un ami de longue date avec qui j'avais envie de travailler depuis longtemps, m'a suggéré d'écouter encore d'autres titres disco. Puis j'ai travaillé avec Seiji à Londres, avec Andy Cato à Barcelone, avec Richard X à Hoxton, à Miami avec Jimmy Douglass et le jeune Ill Factor, un petit génie des studios. Enregistrer les cordes à Philadelphie avec le légendaire Larry Gold a été la cerise sur le gâteau. J'ai aussi écrit deux chansons avec Parrot et son partenaire musical Dean Homer : "Cry Baby", un marathon disco, et "Scarlet Ribbon", ma première chanson lente en deux ans, enregistrée avec mon groupe et produite à Londres avec Dan Carey.
