With the help of Gary Cooper's Conrail units I was able to pull the 78 plus coal cars. Each car was fill with real balast weighing about two pounds each. My NS and SOU unit cound not pull the tonnage. By the way, its all Kadde couplers... it all that would hold together.

This is a video of me landing at night in a Cessna 150. Sorry about the night shot, it was the only way to see everything. This flight was for my long cross country for my commercial pilot training. I flew from Salisbury, MD (KSBY) to Wilmington, NC (KILM), to Norfolk, VA (KORF) and returned to Salisbury. Notice the horrible nose-wheel shimmy haha. The plane is old.

From Google Earth...travel up Norfolk Southern's famous Saluda Grade, one of the steepest mainline grades ever built. So steep, in fact, last I heard it's not being used because it's too dangerous. From Landrum, SC to Saluda, NC it gains 2,000 feet in elevation in just a few miles without the use of loops. You'll be flying about 600 feet above the ground over the entire route. Enjoy the trip!
