This video has some clips showing my movement disorder, myoclonus, in may 2008. On may 22 2008, I had surgery to remove a part of my brain that was causing the movements. The other video clips were taken six weeks after the surgery. I had the surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

This video shows (about 11 seconds in) one of the earliest symptoms that appeared when our son Connor developed OMS caused by Neuroblastoma-eye jerks that looked like he was being shocked. Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome is caused by a neuroblastoma, a cancerous tumor, or a virus. It is thought that antibodies in the immune system designed to fight off the tumor or virus end up attacking the brain as well. In Connor's case-these shock-like eye spasms were our first clue to his tumor.

This clip was recorded may 08, a few weeks before my fourth and most recent surgery. It is a clip of my myoclonic jerks while at rest. This was my constant state at the time, although the jerks were a little aggravated by the fact that I was tired.

This video talks about a seizure of my Dog Nara a weimaraner 5 months old who now is prescipted with Phenobarbital and Prednisone i hope this help her to have a normal life. Nara has Seizures because she was diagnosed with Canine Distemper Virus at the age of 3 months, she survived to the infection but unfortunately she has some neurological consequences like seizures and a litle myoclonus on her righ front leg,in spite of that nara has a normal life. Nara is a really loving dog and i would do anything to keep her ok.

Just had a busy weekend, these are the effects. When I say "busy" I mean busy for me! On the video I say that I did some gardening, in fact all I did was cut back a large shrub, it took about 15 minutes! As for the baking...about 45 mins! This is the problem that I and many others face - a small amount of activity can cause increased symptoms and days of discomfort
