Naked Weapons Test: MP5
Review: The MP5 is the most accurate of the SMG's available in the game, with the F90 coming in at a close second.
With no attachments, the MP5 is still pretty accurate within 50m and under, which is a far enough engagement zone for stealth players to effectively use.
While it is still possible to nail headshots from that range, you may still end up firing 5-10 shots even if aim is dead-on. The 'force' inaccuracy of the weapon (and all SMGs) doesn't permit pistol-like ranged accuracy, regardless of weight and attachments. You can get lucky by spraying an enemy from that range, but it's still recommended you use a pistol for ranged headshots when you can. Otherwise, the MP5 is a fast firing close range weapon, with attachments that greatly reduce sound, and increase accuracy.
As a light SMG, and the most accurate of the bunch, it's a great weapon that always compliments any secondary equipment used. It also has the extended clip capability, at the sacrifice of some weight, which makes it good for longer missions played in close quarters (such as Kingfisher).
VS F90-
The main reasons you'd want to use this weapon over the F90 is the improved accuracy of the smaller suppressor on the MP5 over the '90's longer suppressor, and the MP5's laser. (The F90 has a built in red dot, but no laser feature)
It's also quieter of the F90. Using the extended clip, the MP5 also comes close to the 90's 50 round clip capacity. It's really a matter of personal preference though, as both weapons perform exceptionally well over the HK7 and Uzi9mm.
