Laughter is not all the New Year brings. Sometimes it also brings introspective thoughts, and an awareness of the inevitible passage of time. So I present this variation (some "minor" revisions) on the popular New Year's song. I meant it to be played on a wind-up music box, chimes, or a hydraulophone.
