Here is JDogindy's level, Fever Las Vegas! It takes place in World 2 of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Alternate Earth. JDogindy requested that obstacles be added and Isabeau of MUGEN fame keep her original cameo. To add to that, I've added more MUGEN character tributes. See how many you can find! Street goons will replace most of the enemies in this WIP video. The enemies are just placeholders until that happens.

http://zinzi.us/ Here is a short video clip from the Discovery Channel show "Building the future". A team of scientist spent the past 28 years building this fusion reactor. And in this video we are lucky enough to see it tested. Head on over to the EFDA-JET site for more info.

This is a demonstration of the Git version of Compiz Fusion (formerly known as compcomm), which is the remerge of beryl and compiz, and some of its interesting features. There are some screenshots at http://3bix.blogspot.com and http://puttabutta.blogspot.com . Check out http://www.opencompositing.org for more information! You can find a low quality version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWPhGLDHMLI Someone asked me about my system specs: My computer is running an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3700+ (although I'm using 32-bit ubuntu since it's easier), motherboard is an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, Graphics: 256MG nVidia GeForce 7600GT. All parts ordered on Newegg.com (i made the computer). These parts were not that expensive, and they run Compiz Fusion (new name of compcomm) VERY well. And, since people are asking, I chose to film with a camera since I couldn't install the screencast plugin (I get compile errors).. can someone tell me the dependencies for it? And i used iMovie to make the video, I guess I could have used Kino, but I wasn't sure if it was up to it. The Song is "Ya Ya" on "The Early Tapes of The Beatles" album. I don't know if it's a Beatle singing, but I believe they're playing in the background. ====UPDATED=== I'm using grey-neu, an emerald theme I designed, http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Grey+Neu?content=60824 , and "glossy" in ubuntu, just customized to dark colors. However, since this video I have found a better theme called Neutronium Unity which includes instructions for workarounds to bugs you get with dark themes. http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Neutronium%20Unity?content=59189 ============== Using Avant Window Navigator for the dock.

Google Tech Talks October, 17 2007 ABSTRACT Join Ben Gertzfield of VMware for a look behind the curtain at virtualization on the Mac, the technology that frees operating systems from their earthly hardware chains. Similar in spirit to the ideals of the microkernel and distributed computing, the abstracted and idealized CPU, storage, network, and other devices provided by virtualization remove the barriers formed by the underlying realities of heterogeneous physical hardware. We'll discuss the technologies forming and building upon virtualization, including the hypervisor (or virtual machine monitor), replay (deterministic recording and replaying of all hardware and software events), and virtual machine-based disaster recovery. In addition, we'll share the lessons learned from jumping head-first into the consumer software and Mac worlds, and how "thinking different" applies to porting a massive source code base to its third platform (after Linux and Windows). This talk will be taped by the engEDU Tech Talks Team. Speaker: Ben Gertzfield Ben Gertzfield is the lead developer of VMware Fusion for Mac, VMware's first virtualization solution for Intel Macs, currently available for free trial download. Ben graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in computer science, and subsequently lived and worked in Japan be...

__Expand to see MENU__ Alternative energy has always eluded us. In the past, we were told by the media that "Cold Fusion" was a fraud - that it would never work. Well, you may be in for a rude awakening. This video uncovers the history and deliberate attempt to bury, distort and alter the data results of a wonderful discovery that has been kept from mankind long enough. ________________________________________ Part 1. How to reproduce this experiment The CFR project is a High Temperature Plasma Electrolysis fully based on the Tadahiko Mizuno experiment from the university of Hokkaido in Japan. This is a very interesting experiment and its implication can be a real breakthrough in the field of New and Clean energy source.... The enhanced CFR is composed of a 2000 mL thermostatic reaction vessel filled with 800 mL of demineralized water and Potassium Carbonate ( K2CO3 ). The electrolyte solution commonly used is 0.5 molar ( 0.5 M ). There are three temperature probes ( K probe or PT100 ). Two probes are used for measuring the temperature of the cooling water (Temp In and Temp Out ), and one probe is used for measuring the temperature of the electrolyte solution. You need also to use a flowmeter to measure the cooling water flow. The Cathode used is a 4 mm tungsten rod. The tungsten rod can be a pure tungsten rod or a Th-loaded tungsten TIG electrode (WT20) (with thorium oxide ThO2: 1.70% to 2.20% ) commonly used for plasma welding. The use of a Th-loaded rod increases the life of your cathod. The sputtering effect produced by the thermionic emission is lower with a Th-loaded rod than with a pure tungsten rod. The anode used is composed of stainless steel mesh ( a grid ) maintained with stainless steel rods. If you have planned to conduct some chemical analysis, I recommend you to use a grid made with platinum or nickel . All the wires connections are made with a 1.5 mm2 copper flexible wire gained with silicon. To avoid projections of some drops of the electrolyte solution from the CFR during the plasma ignition sequence, I recommend you to put floating balls on the surface of the liquid (hollow floating balls; pp, 20mm, 2000 PK from Cole Parmer Instrument ). Use a DC Power Supply which is able to give about 300 V DC at 20 A ( don't use AC voltage ). The voltage is tuned with an autotransformer Switch on the fume hood, Set the autotransformer to 0 Volt and switch on the power supply, The voltmeter (set on DC) is connected at the input of the CFR cell and the DC current clamp is connected on the positive wire, Turn the knob of the autotransformer so as to get 30V DC on the CFR cell, Let the electrolysis warm up the cell up to 50°C, At 50°C drop the voltage to 0 Volt and switch off the main power supply, Wait 30 sec to exhaust the mixture of hydrogen/oxygen, Measure the temperature ( TSinp ) of the input of the cooling water, Measure the temperature ( TSout ) of the output of the cooling water. Measure the temperature ( Tr_initial ) of the electrolyte then, immediatly, switch on the power supply, Slowly, turn the autotransformer knob so as to get 200 VDC across the cell. Start the chronometer, Note the Voltage and Current values at the permanent regime (pink glow discharge), End the run after ~3 minutes. ( set the voltage to 0 Volt and switch off the power supply ). Stop the chronometer (time). Measure the temperature ( Tr_final ) of the electrolyte, Measure the flow of the cooling water (Flow in L/min), Measure the temperature ( TEinp ) of the input of the cooling water, Measure the temperature ( TEout ) of the output of the cooling water.

Here's compiz-fusion running on the ASUS eeepc 701. I've set mine up to dual boot with the stock Xandros on the SDD and Xubuntu on a 8Gb SDHC card - compiz is running under Xubuntu - with only 512Mb RAM and i910 3d intel chipset. Runs very smooth!
