Felicita Andremo via ---- Good Morning Princess If you sing In the night that never ends I will kiss you Those lips look beautiful when they're smiling If it rains Along with the rain, the wheat will also come I will find you Rediscovering happiness Look up there The moon is so white and the sky is so blue And if you want to be there too Everything will be easy, you'll see I will make it happen with the strength I'll steal from you And we will return To walk this path of life And every season will have poetry once more If it ends This night of low tides We will go away Rediscovering happiness Happiness We will go away Biography: Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis established a strong following at home before teaming with Sony Classical to expand his audience to international proportions. Born in Rhodesia, a region of south-central Africa that would later become Zimbabwe, Frangoulis moved to Greece at age four. Raised by his aunt, he left home at age 17 to study acting at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. During his years of schooling, when he was performing in such productions as Les Misιrables and The Phantom of the Opera in London's West End, Frangoulis began making a slow transition toward opera singing. He moved to New York to study for three years at the Julliard School of Music and also studied with legendary tenor Alfredo Kraus. Following his years of study, Frangoulis began performing extensively, in everything from roles in films and television to theatrical productions of Greek tragedies and Shakespere. He also pursued a recording career, beginning a high-profile relationship with Sony Classical in 1998. He topped the charts at home in Greece and extended his reach internationally in 2002 with Sometimes I Dream, an album that infused elements of rock, pop, and film music as well as opera. An introduction to the talents of Mario Frangoulis. (I have changed the name of this video - it used to be called 'Mario Frangoulis live in London' because I was using it to advertise our show at the Royal Albert hall on 19/9/08). Mario Frangoulis is a tenor of the 21st century, with the ability to sing everything from a West End show-stopper to an operatic aria. His live performances are electric, and through his charisma, unparalleled vocal talent and immaculate interpretation, he reaches across boundaries of language and musical style (opera, pop, folk, world) and touches his audiences. As a result he has successfully collaborated with artists such as Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Justin Hayward and Alejandro Fernandez and many more. At 17 Mario moved from his native Greece to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where, having won the coveted Maria Callas Prize, he was spotted by Cameron Mackintosh who cast him as Marius in Les Misérables. Soon after, Andrew Lloyd Webber invited Mario to play Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, which he did to much acclaim, going on to one of the great homes of opera, making his debut at La Scala, Milan as Tony in West Side Story. He has since established himself as one of the world's best loved and most versatile tenors. Liam

In her impressive resume, Uthe has recorded a unique duet with Greek singer Mario Frangoulis entitled Naturaleza Muerta. She admits to taking only three hours to learn and sing the song, in a language which she does not understand at that. Naturaleza Muerta was recorded by each vocalist separately and then put together later. Uthe was also in Greece in October last year to perform the song with Mario. Best of all, previously only available on Mario's album, this duet is now available as track number 10 on Uthe's latest album. Bosporos The name comes from the Greek word Bosporos (Βόσπορος). Its etymology is from bous (βοῦς: ox) and poros (πόρος: means of passing a river, ford, ferry), thus meaning "oxen passage", which could reflect the older history of the region. The Greeks analysed it as "ox-ford" or "shallow sea ox passage" and associated it with the myth of Io's travels after Zeus turned her into an heifer for her protection Το όνομα, που σημαίνει πέρασμα βοδιού (βους + πόρος), συνδέεται με τον Ελληνικό μύθο της Ιούς και του ταξιδιού της μετά τη μετατροπή της σε βόδι από το Δία για την προστασία της. The spirits come back at nights -little lights of unredeemed souls- and if you look up the embrasures you'll see figures looking at you And then a grievance comes upon you and it makes you wander in the slip-roads Polis an old beloved whom you meet again in the arms of a stranger I want to drink all of the Vosporos- inside me are changing the borders of the world I found her in the verses of the poems living together with the heavy Hanums and I throw inside the arms' mouth my empty, my half truth. I want to drink all of the Vosporos- inside me are changing the borders of the world.

Listen to the story of Kemal a young prince of the East descendant of Sinbad the Sailor who thought he could change the world. But bitter is the will of Allah and dark the souls of men. In the lands of the East once upon a time the purse was empty and the water stagnant. In Mosul and Basra on the old coconut tree the children of the desert now cry bitter tears. And a young man of an old and royal line hears the lament and heads that way. the Bedouins look at him sadly and he gives them an oath in Allah's name, that times will change. When the lords heard of the lad's fearlessness they set out with wolf's teeth and lion's skin from Tigris to Euphrates, from the earth to the heavens they hunt for the deserter, to capture him alive. The horde descends upon him like rabid dogs and take him to the Caliph to place the noose [around his neck] black honey and black milk he drank that morning before he left his last breath on the gallows. The Prophet awaits before the Gates of Heaven with two elderly camels and a red horse. They now go hand in hand and it's cloudy but the star of Damascus kept them company. In a month and a year they see Allah before them and from his high throne he says to the simple Sinbad: "my beaten smart-alec, times do not change, the world always moves on by fire and the sword" Goodnight Kemal, this world will never change. Goodnight...

Great news for all Mario Frangoulis fans in the UK!. On September 19th Mario will be performing work from his own internationally acclaimed albums alongside some old favourites. Accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra, this one-off performance will take the audience on a journey across the globe with a truly international repertoire of music. In an evening full of surprises, Mario will be joined onstage by an eclectic mix of exceptional musicians and singers including international superstar (and Mario's co-star in the film De Lovely) LARA FABIAN, and the sensational soprano, NATASHA MARSH. A highly regarded performer in both opera and oratorio, Natasha's debut album, Amour, went to No 1 in the classical chart, and her stunning recording of Mozart's Queen of the Night aria from The Magic Flute brought her a wider audience this Summer, when ITV chose it as their theme music for football's Euro 2008. Mario will also be joined by JUSTIN HAYWARD of the Moody Blues as he re-creates their unique orchestral version of Nights In White Satin (Notte de Luce), and another old friend and collaborator, musical sensation STEVE BALSAMO, who shot to fame for his title role in Jesus Christ Superstar.
