This is an example of a Distilling session in Puzzle Pirates scoring Crystal Clear ^ 12. The purpose of this video is to give you a general idea about scoring high in this puzzle. Its aim isn't to compete with other distillers.
It's good there are distilling videos of many different pirates, because each of us developed a bit different way to reach CC ^ 12. While some moves are common, I think every distiller has an unique style. I think it's good to be able to see somebody else's approach. We can still learn from each other.
I have to say one thing: I would've done this distilling much better if I was able to record it on my own computer. But running HyperCam on it is impossible, it makes everything lag. So I had to do this on friend's computer. The problem is I'm really not used to his mouse, so I kept messing it up. In this video you might be able to observe some mouse-handling mistakes I did (like dragging something farther than I wanted) and then you can see me doing some additional tricks to fix it. But maybe that's even better - you can learn from mistakes too after all.
Also, I probably could've burnt at least one more column before starting to send crystal clears, but I didn't want to risk with my friend's mouse and I don't want to show off anyway. This is not what this video is for.
Sorry for no sound. Maybe in the future I'll make a version of this with commentary that would make the intentions of the moves I use more visible. For now I'm just uploading it the way it is, my friend really wants to see. :)
