-READ FIRST, if you want to have any idea as to what is going on-
So once again, this is a video to go along with a fanfiction. This one is not mine, however, but it is a magnificent Death Sentence story. I read it and loved it so much I just had to make a video to go along with it. Of course, this video definitely does not do the story justice, so you should take a minute or two and check it out for yourself, http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3863638/1/Family . I promise, it's good.
I did something a bit different for this video, so let's see how well it works. Basically, it's not the plot of the fanfiction, it's just kind of a video to go with the pairing of the story, which by the way is Billy/OC. I really wanted to show the transformation of how Billy went from a decent, wrong side of the block type kid to the leader of a super feared gang. This is somewhat from the point of view of Hansen, the OC in the story. So I broke it down into three parts, each part represented by a different song. Sorry, my song editing skills are not very good yet, but I'm working on it. I tried to use a visual difference in Billy as he transforms, so there are clips from quite a few different movies, but it's still the same guy. Sorry if that confuses anyone. And just as a warning, even though this is a Death Sentence video, you don't see the actual Billy Darley until the end of it. Reading the part description does kind of spoil the video, but I'm afraid it won't make sense if you don't know what's going on. So it's your choice to read or watch first.
Cast:
Garrett Hedlund- Billy Darley
Jordana Brewster- Hansen Matthews
If you see a bit of Paul Walker here and there, pretend its Garrett/Billy. I tried to cut him out but he always seemed to be in the way.
Part One: "45" by Shinedown
Garrett movie: Friday Night Lights
This is when Billy and Hansen first meet. They catch each other's eye across the street and all that good stuff. At this point in his life, Billy is just a mediocre drug runner with hardly any name for himself at all. He is constantly under pressure from his no good father, but he is still a decent kid at heart.
Basic plot: They meet, become friends, etc. When Billy has problems with his dad, he knows he can turn to Hansen without ruining what little reputation he has.
Part Two: "Riot" by Three Days Grace
Garrett movie: Four Brothers
The world of drug dealers and gang wars is really starting to have an effect on Billy. He's becoming more of a rebel, less of the semi-caring person Hansen knew. He's beginning to hang out with his group of hoodlum friends more and never spends time with Hansen. He's buying and selling more guns and using more drugs than he used to.
Basic plot: Hansen is always walking in on things she never used to see from him- more gun usage, more smoking, more drugs. Billy reflects on the innocence of Hansen as he smokes, thinks about all of the stuff he is bringing her in to. He wants to keep her away from it, but she ends up seeing it anyways and runs off, causing their first big argument. When they agree to meet up to talk he doesn't show up, so she goes looking for him. She finds him with his gang, causing trouble like always. She tries to be understanding, but she finds it hard to come to terms with the new Billy.
Part Three: "Step Up" by Drowning Pool
Garrett movie: Death Sentence
Let's just say that Billy has been completely lost to the dark side. Hansen feels she doesn't know this man anymore.
Basic plot: Billy and his gang set out to kill some people and he tells Hansen to stay away. She knows what he is going to do and follows them. When she finds them, Billy is in the process of killing and Hansen tries to stop him. She gets angry and runs away when he is done killing people and he goes after her. She finally realizes that she still loves him and gets in the car with him, to his surprise. He doesn't understand how she could still love him after all he has done.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything in this video. I am making absolutely no money off of it whatsoever. I do not own Death Sentence, Friday Night Lights, Four Brothers, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, D.E.B.S., The Fast and the Furious, or Running Scared. The music is not mine. "Riot" belongs to Three Days Grace, "45" belongs to Shinedown, and "Step Up" belongs to Drowning Pool. Nothing is mine.
