Supernatural- Flyleaf
Haley James and Nathan Scott were one of those happy go lucky couples that had taken a whole new step in life. They had decided to move into an apartment together. The summer that Nathan went away to High Flyers was also the summer that Haley met Dean. At first she thought he was just another one of those cute guys who aimed to get in a girl's pants, but soon fell in love with him. He told her everything about him and his family, because for some odd reason he felt as if he could open up to this girl. It was too bad that once the end of the summer came Dean had to leave, under his father's orders, and go to Lawrence, Kansas for some stupid hunt. Haley was pretty much crushed, because not only would she have to say goodbye to the guy who she loved, but she still had to face the other man in her life- Nathan. Dean tells her before he leaves that she should give him a call, or try to find him, if she gives up on Nathan. [The video picks up from here] Once Nathan gets home, Haley almost immediately tells him. Not because she wanted too, but because she sucked at keeping things secret from him. He tells her to choose, and when she doesn't reply back, he leaves the apartment- both angry and confused. Haley meanwhile figures that it's over from there and collects all of her things out of the apartment and heads out, to find him. Meanwhile Dean and Sam had located what they think killed their mother, and Sam soon starts questioning Dean about what happened to the girl he was secretly seeing. Dean tells his brother to forget about it, and not to bring it up again. He soon finds himself calling her, just to check up. (Because God knows she has certainly left a whole lotta messages on his phone. Dean just never had the heart to listen to them) Anyway, as soon as he hears her worried tone asking if he was okay, he feels his heart shatter-figuratively speaking of course. He tells her that he is okay, and that she shouldn't try to find him yet, simply because with this demon around, it's not exactly safe (for example look at what happened to Jessica) Haley tells him that she doesn't care about her safety, and that she just needs to see him. Dean then tells her that he loves her, and will hopefully see her one day soon, and with that he shuts his phone leaving Haley alone and confused. Only a mere few day's later Dean finds himself dreaming of her. He tries to put her out of his mind, but every time he merely attempts to go to sleep, there she is... haunting his every thought. After investigating a crime scene, Sam takes a chance, and brings her up once more. Dean simply tells him he has no idea what he's talking about and that he was over Haley. Sam presses the issue by saying that he can tell by the look on his face that Dean has lost sleep over her. (Sam could tell this, how? Lets just say he felt the same way after Jessica.) Sam says that its okay if he opened up to her, and told her the secret, but Dean says that it was a mistake. Because after all, look how it ended. He knew he couldn't be with her, because it simply put her in too much danger. Sam then realizes it. His brother was in love with that small North Carolina town girl, Haley. He then questions why Dean broke up with her, and Dean ignores it completely and tells him to get in the car. Almost two years of nothing but ongoing hunts Dean finds him at her front door step, knocking and hoping for her answer. And when she does... Well, let's just say Dean may never leave her again.
