Here are a couple of strange glitches involving Bugs Bunny's death in both games. The first involves a "ghost" that will push objects after Bugs Bunny dies. It happens when Bugs dies with his back to such object. Only a few stages have objects that are set up in a way to make it possible--stages 35 and 40 also work well--but it's easiest and quickest to do in stage 44.
It's also possible to collect items, even carrots, in the death animation when Bugs dies. You have likely noticed that Bugs falls slightly during his death animation: it's entirely possible to collect an item if that short fall leads Bugs onto an item! In Stage 14--by far the easiest level to attempt it--I get the final carrot AFTER Yosemite Sam kills me. Notice the level number and life count in the video to see whether that counts as me beating the level, losing a life, or both! Also, it won't work if you fall directly onto the enemy: Bugs doesn't fall far enough in the death animation to reach the item. The enemy has to hit Bugs from the side while he is falling. The timing needed for that is difficult.
And finally, notice the level select. That's not a glitch, but an in-game feature few people seem to know about.
