A short video I made for work set to the song "Step Right Up" by Tom Waits. It shows the ridiculousness of our consumerist nation and how the media plays into it and profits from it!

It started with a video on XTube: a video of a man named BaseballPlaya319, masturbating his way through the stores of Glendale, Arizona, to the tune of the Sneaker Pimps' "Spin, Spin Sugar." We posted the video on a Sunday night, and with a few hours it had made its way to Consumerist, Fleshbot, and the front page of Digg. And it didn't stop there: the story traveled offline, making it's way from the local news all the way to CNN. How did this all happen? How did people react? And really: how do we feel about it all? In this special edition of Boinkology TV, we discuss the ins and outs of last week's biggest story.

This was part of a presentation I did on Robert Reich's book, "Supercapitalism." It's also a parody of our consumerist society. Reich also points out that our consumerist mentality overtakes our duties as citizens.

this is my tribute for Lance Armstrong. I know some will come to comment that he was a cheater, dopeman etc... know what? I don't care! He was the reason I started cycling and thanks to him, I am now healthy and fit, unlike most people in this consumerist era.
