In 1960, the Chiffons formed at James Monroe High School in the Bronx, New York. The lead singer was 14 year old Judy Craig (born August 6,1946), and she sang along with Patricia Bennett (born April 7, 1947) and Barbara Lee (born February 6, 1944). It was at the after school center that they met writer/manager/entrepreneur Ronnie Mack. Mack's claim to fame at that time was as a local Philadelphia hit by Little Jimmy and the Tops called "Puppy Love." Though partial to his own songs, Mack got wind of a new Luther Dixon-Shirley Owens composition in the summer of 1960. Owens was lead singer of the Shirelles, so it was only nature that they record the song "Tonight's the Night." Mack decided to have the unknown Chiffons cover "Tonight's the Night" and to fight it out on the charts with the more established Shirelles. The girls than choose the name Chiffons out of the hat. Mack signed the trio to Big Deal Records. They then recorded "Tonight's the Night," and both versions hit the charts on September 12th. The Shirelles, having a stronger lead vocalist and fuller harmonies climbed to #39 while the Chiffons' first release managed to reach #76. It would be 2 1/2 years before the Chiffons would again make the national charts. During this time Mack talked them into taking on lead singer, Sylvia Peterson (born September 30, 1946) She too was a student at James Monroe High and had sung with Little Jimmy and the Tops. In the fall of 1962, Mack took some songs to a new production team in New York City. The company Bright Tunes and the producers were Phil and Mitch Margo, Jay Siegel, and Hank Medress a.k.a. The Tokens. They liked one of the songs called "He's So Fine" and asked if he had a group to sing it. Fearing a negative response would end their interest he said that he had a terrific group. The Tokens said "Great. Bring them in tomorrow." It was several months before the Chiffons were called in to record the single. The Tokens not only produced it, but played all the instruments too. Finally in December 1962, it was released on Laurie Records. By March 20th "He's So Fine" was the #1 record on both the Pop and R&B charts. The next single. "Lucky Me" was a flop. In order to not lose momentum, the Tokens immediately produced a third single "One Fine Day" which proved to have the same simple appeal as "He's So Fine." The Carole King-Gerry Goffin composition rocketed up the charts to #5 Pop and #6 R&B. The Tokens then decided to create a dual personality for the group, so at the same time that: One Fine Day" was being released, they recorded the Chiffons on Laurie's Rust subsidiary as the Four Pennies. The Pennies' first single was "My Block" and it reached the charts three weeks after "One Fine Day. It was a cha-cha rhythmed song with a sound reminiscent of Phil Spector's productions. It only went #67 Pop. In September the Chiffons had their third Top 40 hit in four tries with "A Love So Fine." Back as the Four Pennies their September release of "When the Boy's Happy" reached #95 Pop in November. The Chiffons were now in great demand and began appearing on TV's American Bandstand, Hullabaloo, Shindig, as well as Murray the K's Brooklyn Fox live show, and singing commercials for Great Shakes drinks. In 1963, they joined Dion's rock and roll show at the Pittsburgh Civic Center that also featured the Shirelles, Freddy Cannon, Little Peggy March, the Impressions and Dione Warwick. In November, they were with James Brown at the Apollo theater in Harlem, New York. In the fall of 1963 the Chiffons released "I Have a Boyfriend." considered to be their best recording. Written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, and the Tokens, the rhythm ballad was a Ronettes styled mix of the early '60s rhythm and blues and doo wop. It reached #36 on the Billboard's Best Seller list in November, but was gone ten weeks later. After "One Fine Day," their sales dropped dramatically. On February 11, 1964, the Chiffons were among the opening acts on the Beatles first U.S. concert at Washington Memorial Coliseum. In June, 1964 they opened for the Rolling Stones on their first U.S. tour. Several strong Chiffons recordings followed ("Tonight I Met an Angel," "Sailor Boy," and "What Am I Gonna Do With You"), but the charts were now moving to the British sound. However, a good song is a good song, and in the spring of 1966 the Chiffons had a Top Ten Record in June with "Sweet Talkin' Guy." In 1968 the Tokens moved the group from Laurie to its own label B.T Puppy for one single called "My Secret Love" which remained a secret to the public as it received little air play. In 1969 Judy Craig called it quits. The groups had some additional but smaller successes after this.

ANCHOR: British super rockers Coldplay will unveil their much anticipated new album 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends' on I-tunes today and internationally tomorrow. Here's more. STORY: The album that will put the new EMI under its greatest global scrutiny to date is also 2008's most eagerly awaited release. That's the official word from Coldplay's new boss. The band's "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" will be released June 12 internationally on Parlophone/EMI and on June 17 in North America on Capitol. EMI Group chairman Guy Hands, led the buyout of the music company last summer through his private-equity firm, Terra Firma. [Guy Hands, EMI Group Chairman]: "Right across the world, this is the most anticipated album of the year." To reassert its close relationship with its fans, Coldplay made the album's first single, "Violet Hill", a track, with something of the flavor of the early Beatles era. It's available as a free download. According to EMI it shifted more than two million units in its week of being available for free. A cover-mounted 7-inch vinyl edition of the single was given away with the May 10 issue of British music weekly NME. It's the only physical version of the single available, although it also went on sale at digital outlets the same day. Coldplay will stage free gigs at London's Brixton Academy on June 16th and at New York's Madison Square Garden on June 23. They might also give a free show in Barcelona soon. The free shows will be followed by extensive touring throughout 2008 and beyond. Roughly 50 shows are planned for North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. Coldplay will also headline Japan's 'Summersonic' festival in August.

VOLUME UP! I get the feeling alot of people arent watching with sound and hearing the sadistic soldier behind the camera. Edit 3/14/06: Interesting how this video is getting such a response. Yet Im still surprised how many people support these soldiers actions. There seem to be alot of people out there that think "Terrorism" is a country, like Bush and his "War on Terror". People protesting US occupation does not make them terrorists, so to say that its ok for these people to get beat is ridiculous. They protest this war in Iraq, because since US occupation began, the death toll of INNOCENT Iraqis killed in car bombs aimed at the US Soldiers, and US Airstrikes aimed at terrorists has risen into the hundreds of thousands. These arent all terrorists, these are people caught in the crossfire. If this was happening in your country, I would call you a coward to not do the same thing these Iraqis are doing. People protest this "war" all over the world, in fact, more people are against it than for it. --End Edit-- This video is shot from a balcony in Iraq, showing British soldiers first moving a group of protesters (some throwing rocks and stuff) out of an area. Then, the camera guy focuses on these troops pulling some people down the street, they drag these people behind a large wall, and beat the crap out of them. And the camera man (also a Soldier) is a disgusting psycho, who seems like hes getting off on it. THIS, is a EXCELLENT example, of why this "war" is a horrible thing. It has become nothing more than an INVASION. US & its Allies, staying around, enforcing our laws, on these people, our presense, creating a reason for more bombings. Resistance attacks in Iraq arent aimed at civillians, their aimed at the troops. But civillians die as a result. Just like with the US bombs. Civillians are dying every day in huge numbers in Iraq. And it is a direct result of US occupation. And this type of sick behavior, is going to do nothing but encourage more violence towards our soldiers, and as a result, the innocents in Iraq.

The Polecats formed in 1977. The original line-up was Tim Worman (a.k.a Tim Polecat, vocalist), Martin "Boz" Boorer, (guitarist and vocalist), Phil Bloomberg (bassist), and Chris Hawkes (drummer), who originally played under the name "Cult Heroes." Finding difficulty persuading promoters to book them on the rockabilly circuit with a name sounding "too punk", they adopted Hawkes' suggested band name The Polecats. Hawkes was later replaced by Neil Rooney. The band were first signed by the fledgling British rockabilly record label Nervous Records, and released the single "Rockabilly Guy" in 1979. In 1980 the band signed to Mercury Records, and released their most successful LP, Polecats Are Go! They had UK chart success with a David Bowie cover "John, I'm Only Dancing", a reworking of "Rockabilly Guy", and another cover version of the T-Rex (Marc Bolan) song "Jeepster". "John, I'm Only Dancing" was in the UK Singles Chart at the same time as fellow rockabilly artists Stray Cats' second single "Rock This Town". In 1983, they hit the charts in the United States with their song "Make a Circuit With Me." Shortly after this, John Buck replaced Neil Rooney on drums. Boz Boorer left the group to work as a guitarist, musical director, and co-songwriter with Morrissey, but led a Polecats reunion in 1989, which produced a live album and a new studio set. Raucous Records released a compilation album of Boz Boorer's work entitled Between The Polecats in early 2001. Tim Polecat moved to Los Angeles, California and formed the band 13 Cats with drummer Slim Jim of the Stray Cats, stand-up bassist Smutty Smith of The Rockats, and guitarist Danny B. Harvey of The Swing Cats. Their album 13 Cats is available on Cleopatra Records. Tim Polecat also works as a successful art director and production designer for film, commercials, and music videos. Musically, Tim Polecat also continues to work as a film composer and solo singer-songwriter. The most recent tour was in late 2006, playing gigs in Europe and Japan. They plan to continue touring whenever possible, especially when Tim Polecat is in the UK. In November 2006 frontman Jarvis Cocker of the British band Pulp, along with bassist Steve Mackey, released a 2-CD compilation album, The Trip, which features a wide selection of tracks by artists as varied as The Fall, Gene Pitney, The Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers, Dion, Sonny Bono plus The Polecats with their hit "John, I'm Only Dancing".

Girl Talk was a British girl group formed by Karen Wright and Leigh Pearce. The girls, aged 12 and 13 respectively, released their debut single, Can The Rhythm, in 1983 on Park Records. By the next year Pearce had been replaced by Karen's sister Julie. Signed to Innervision Records, the pair released the single "Marvellous Guy" in 1984, produced by Peter Collins, but it failed to chart. Their only hit in the UK was their second Innervision single, a re-recorded "Can The Rhythm", which reached #92 in October 1984. The track was an early production of the hitmaking team Stock Aitken and Waterman. In 1987, the sisters moved to WEA records and released two further singles, Falling For You (produced by The Quick) and I Will Give You Love (produced by John Rocca) which unfortunately failed to chart. Of note, unlike most of the girl groups of the era, three of their singles were written solely by group member Karen Wright. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girl_talk_%28girl_group%29

Is this a rough cut video of Michael Moore's film 'Sick-O"? Graphic video! A man cuts off his finger or finger but can you guess how? Take the "man cuts off his finger" Craftsman Challenge. Sicko is a film by Michael Moore, released in Canada and The United States on June 29th, 2007.[1] It investigates the United States health care system with a focus on the behavior of large health insurance companies and contrasts the U.S. system with those of other countries with universal health care coverage. On April 19, 2007, Moore announced on his website that Sicko had been selected for the 2007 Cannes Film Festival where it had its world premiere on May 19, 2007. Moore also announced a June 29, 2007 release date for the U.S. and Canada. Moore's film had an early premiere the week before in Washington D.C.. However, this was canceled in fear that his film would be confiscated before the scheduled premiere date. Sicko deals with the problems of the American for-profit health insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Its main message is that government-run health care is a better model than the present US health-care system because the present system is designed to maximize profit by minimizing the care delivered to patients. At one point in the film Moore says: "And the United States slipped to 37 in health care around the world, just slightly ahead of Slovenia."[2] [edit] U.S. health-care system [edit] Anecdotes of people denied care The movie starts retelling the stories of people who were denied health care, either because they did not have health insurance or because the insurance companies found a way not to pay them. (On February 3, 2006, Moore requested, via his blog, that people send "Health Care Horror Stories" in an effort to share his view on the health care industry.[3]) * In one case, Doug Noe's insurance provider, Cigna Healthcare, approved a cochlear ear implant for only the left ear of Noe's daughter, Annette, born with an acute hearing disability. Cigna argued that a two-ear operation was "experimental." (When Noe alerted Moore to the case, the insurer reversed its decision.)[4] * A woman gets stuck with the ambulance bill after a car accident because she didn't clear the charge with her insurer before losing consciousness.[5] * Also shown is the widow of Tracy Pierce, who died from kidney cancer after his insurer denied a possibly life-saving bone-marrow transplant.[5] * One woman's insurance provider denied coverage after an operation, because she didn't mention a previous yeast infection on her application.[5] * Homeless patients were abandoned by Los Angeles hospitals after they had received some medical treatment. (In May 2007, Kaiser Permanente, a large nonprofit health insurer, settled criminal and civil lawsuits by agreeing to establish new rules for discharging homeless patients; paying $55,000 in fines; covering the city attorney's investigative costs; and spending $500,000 on the homeless for follow-up care and other services.)[6] * Rick accidentally sawed off the tops of his middle and ring fingers on one hand while working at home. He had no insurance and limited funds at his disposal, so he has to choose whether to have the hospital reattach the end of his middle finger for $60,000 or the end of his ring finger for $12,000. (He chose the ring finger.)[5] [edit] Accounts from inside insurance companies Some former "repented" employees of insurance companies are also interviewed, and describe dubious practices of their former employers, such as considering the best doctor the one who could best dismiss a patient. One scene shows a clip of Congressional testimony given in 1996. Dr. Linda Peeno, a former medical reviewer for the health insurer Humana, said her job was to save money for the company. "I denied a man a necessary operation", she testified, referring to a decision she made in 1987. (Her testimony "has been widely recounted over the years," according to a news article in The New York Times. A spokesman for Humana said the case Peeno referred to had involved whether a man had coverage that would pay for a heart transplant, and Peeno correctly found the insurance didn't cover the procedure.)[7] The film also interviews Lee Einer, whose job at a major insurance carrier (not identified in the film) was to examine insurance applications retroactively. Einer was to peruse large claims in order to find evidence that the applicants had hidden previous conditions. Einer says it was irrelevant whether or not the applicant intended to mislead, the companies just wanted excuses to avoid paying the claims.[5] [edit] Washington lobbyists and politicians The movie also describes the connection between lobby groups such as PhRMA, the largest and most powerful lobbyist block in Washington D.C., and political groups. Moore says that Hillary Clinton, who once championed the Clinton health care plan, is the Senate's second-highest recipient of campaign donations from the health care industry. Moore said that Clinton friend Harvey Weinstein, whose company provided financing for the film, asked him to remove the scene but Moore refused.[8] Moore said that he had donated to Clinton's first Senate campaign but has since become disillusioned with her.[9] [edit] Health-care systems elsewhere The American system is then compared to those of Canada, the United Kingdom and France, which have universal health care for their citizens, including interviews with Tony Benn, members of the local middle class and Americans residing in those countries. Moore tries to locate a place where British have to pay something in a hospital (finding a counter labeled "Cashier", only to find that patients actually get money there to reimburse their trip to the hospital). Moore also rides along in a 24-hour French house-call service in which a doctor with a company called "SOS Médecins" visits patients at their homes. The doctor rides around Paris at night, taking dispatch calls like a taxi driver.[5] Moore finds out that French government helpers literally "do the laundry" for new mothers to support them. Some volunteer rescue workers who lent their help during the World Trade Center attacks of 2001, and who subsequently developed a series of medical conditions (some physical and some psychological including PTSD), are then interviewed. The government will not pay for care for their ailments. Since the US government must provide under the terms of the Hague Convention and Geneva Conventions full medical coverage for the alleged enemy combatants detained at the U.S. Guantanamo Bay detainment camp, Moore takes three ships and sails from Miami for Cuba. The group arrives at the entrance channel to Gitmo, on a different boat (clearly waving the flag of Cuba), Moore asks for access with a megaphone, but no response is given and they finally give up when a siren is blown from the base. The group then moves on to Havana, where they can receive free medical treatment they would otherwise not be able to afford.[10] The volunteers are hospitalised there and receive treatment, having only to provide their names and birth date. Moore declares he asked the doctors to provide them only the same level of care they would give to Cuban citizens. He also interviews the daughter of Che Guevara, who has become a pediatrician (Ernesto Guevara was a physician himself). Although trip participants signed confidentiality agreements prohibiting them from talking about the trip, some thought the trip a success, with The New York Post quoting John Feal, head of the Fealgood Foundation which raises money for 9/11 first responders, that "From what I hear through the grapevine those people who went [to Cuba with Moore] are utterly happy."[11] The film's finale is what Moore provides as an example of "taking care of each other, no matter the differences". [edit] Reception Sicko at the Cannes Film Festival receiving a standing ovation Sicko at the Cannes Film Festival receiving a standing ovation The movie has received positive reviews: following early viewings at the Cannes Film Festival, Variety described Sicko "an affecting and entertaining dissection of the American health care industry",[12] concluding it should play well internationally. Moore has nonetheless been quoted as saying, "I know the storm awaits me back in the United States."[13] In his New York Times review, critic A.O. Scott said the movie is "the funniest and the most tightly edited" of any Moore film to date.[14] In an early review a week before the premiere, Richard Roeper and Michael Phillips (the latter filling in for Roger Ebert) gave Moore's film two thumbs up. Roger Friedman, who reviewed the film for Fox News, wrote, "Filmmaker Michael Moore's brilliant and uplifting new documentary, "Sicko," deals with the failings of the U.S. healthcare system, both real and perceived. But this time around, the controversial documentarian seems to be letting the subject matter do the talking, and in the process shows a new maturity."[15] British film magazine Empire commented that "Sicko is the film that truly reveals Moore as an auteur."[16] On May 19, 2007 more than 2,000 people applauded loudly after the film's first Cannes screening at the packed Grand Theatre Lumiere, the main festival auditorium.[17] The North American premiere of Sicko was held in London, Ontario at the Silver City movie theatre at Masonville Place on June 8, 2007, with Moore himself in attendance. Sicko features patients from the London, Ontario area. As of June 30, 2007 Sicko has received a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes earning the film a "fresh" designation. The consensus statement on Sicko is that it is "A devastating, convincing, and very entertaining documentary."[18] [edit] Controversy Main article: Controversies over the film Sicko The movie has come under attack from a variety of sources. CNN described the movie as having few numeric inaccuracies but often lacking context.[9]. The film has been heavily criticized for taking the Cuban description of their health-care system for granted. "[19][20][21] [edit] Treasury Department probe In a May 2, 2007 letter, the Office of Foreign Assets Control informed Moore that he was the subject of a civil investigation stemming from the filmmaker's March trip to Cuba. In the letter to Moore, a Treasury official noted that the department had no record of Moore obtaining a license that authorized him to "engage in travel-related transactions involving Cuba," alleging that Moore violated the United States embargo against Cuba.[22][23] A duplicate master copy of the film is being held in Canada in case American authorities attempt to seize the film as part of the criminal investigation against Moore that arose from taking American 9/11 rescue workers to Cuba for medical treatment.[24] [edit] Piracy Wikinews has news related to: Michael Moore's new film 'Sicko' leaked via P2P Although the film was released on June 29, 2007, a copy was leaked onto the internet in early to mid June 2007.[25] Moore, who previously stated his support for internet downloading, denies leaking the video himself and an investigation has been held as to the source of the internet leak.[26] michael, moore, michael moore, bowling for columbine, dude where's my country, roger and me, the awful truth, tv nation

The Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) is a religious organization headed by Fred Phelps and based in Topeka, Kansas, United States. The organization is monitored by the Anti-Defamation League, and is classified as a hate group. The church bases its work around the belief expressed by its best known slogan and the address of its primary website, "God hates fags," and expresses the idea that nearly every tragedy in the world is linked to homosexuality -- specifically society's increasing tolerance and acceptance of the so-called "Homosexual Agenda." The group maintains that God hates homosexuals above all other kinds of "sinners" and that homosexuality should be a capital crime. The church runs numerous websites such as GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jews, as well as populations it believes are supporting the aforementioned groups, including Swedes, Canadians, Irish, British, Mexicans and Americans. http://kurl.nl?1B08

This footage was taken on November 5th 2007 at the Upwey Society Guy Fawkes Night Celebrations. Guy Fawkes was a member of a group of English Roman Catholics which planned to carry out the Gunpowder Plot, an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill King James I of England, to destroy Protestant rule by killing the Protestant aristocracy, on 5 November 1605. Extract taken from the Chambers 'Book of Days' regarding the custom Guy Fawkes Day. GUY FAWKE'S DAY Till lately, a special service for the 5th of November formed part of the ritual of the English Book of Common Prayer; but by a recent ordinance of the Queen in Council, this service, along with those for the Martyrdom of Charles I, and the Restoration of Charles II, has been abolished. The appointment of this day, as a holiday, dates from an enactment of the British parliament passed in January 1606, shortly after the narrow escape made by the legislature from the machinations of Guy Fawkes and his confederates. Procession of a Guy That the gunpowder treason, however, should pass into oblivion is not likely, as long as the well-known festival of Guy Fawkes's Day is observed by English juveniles, who still regard the 5th of November as one of the most joyous days of the year. The universal mode of observance through all parts of England, is the dressing up of a scare-crow figure, in such cast-habiliments as can be procured (the head-piece, generally a paper-cap, painted and knotted with paper strips in imitation of ribbons), parading it in a chair through the streets, and at nightfall burning it with great solemnity in a huge bonfire. The image is supposed to represent Guy Fawkes, in accordance with which idea, it always carries a dark lantern in one hand, and a bunch of matches in the other. The pro-cession visits the different houses in the neighbourhood in succession, repeating the time-honoured rhyme: ' Remember, remember! The fifth of November, The Gunpowder treason and plot; There is no reason Why the Gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot!' Numerous variations and additions are made in different parts of the country. Thus in Islip, Oxfordshire, the following lines, as quoted by Sir Henry Ellis in his edition of Brand's Popular Antiquities, are chanted. 'The fifth of November, Since I can remember, Gunpowder treason and plot: This is the day that God did prevent, To blow up his king and parliament. A stick and a stake, For Victoria's sake; If you won't give me one, I'll take two: The better for me, And the worse for you.' One invariable custom is always maintained on these occasions—that of soliciting money from the passers-by, in the formula, 'Pray remember Guy!' 'Please to remember Guy!' or 'Please to remember the bonfire!' In former times, in London, the burning of the effigy of Guy Fawkes on the 5th of November was a most important and portentous ceremony. The bonfire in Lincoln's Inn Fields was conducted on an especially magnificent scale. Two hundred cart-loads of fuel would sometimes be consumed in feeding this single fire, while upwards of thirty 'Guys' would be suspended on gibbets and committed to the flames. Another tremendous pile was heaped up by the butchers in Clare Market, who on the same evening paraded through the streets in great force, serenading the citizens with the famed 'marrow-bone-and-cleaver' music. The uproar throughout the town from the shouts of the mob, the ringing of the bells in the churches, and the general confusion which prevailed, can but faintly be imagined by an individual of the present day. The ferment occasioned throughout the country by the 'Papal Aggression' in 1850, gave a new direction to the genius of 5th of November revellers. Instead of Guy Fawkes, a figure of Cardinal Wise-man, then recently created 'Archbishop of Westminster' by the pope, was solemnly burned in effigy in London, amid demonstrations which certainly gave little evidence of any revolution in the feelings of the English people towards the Romish see. In 1857, a similar honour was accorded to Nana Sahib, whose atrocities at Cawnpore in the previous month of July, had excited such a cry of horror throughout the civilised world. The opportunity also is frequently seized by many of that numerous class in London, who get their living no one exactly knows how, to earn a few pence by parading through the streets, on the 5th of November, gigantic figures of the leading celebrities of the day. These are sometimes rather ingeniously got up, and the curiosity of the passer-by, who stops to look at them, is generally taxed with the contribution of a copper. I caught this rare footage of some violent person who attempted to steal a roll of hay from its field. It should be noted that the hay in question was unprotected. If you see this thief near a field, contact the authorities immediately! DO NOT APPROACH him/her, we don't know what other tendencies they have

THIS GROUP HAILS FROM WINNIPEG. THEY HAVE A BRITISH TYPE STYLE FOR THE GIRLS AND PUNK STYLE FOR THE GUYS. THIS WAS ISSUED ON PORT IN THE STATES. I'VE GOT THE DAMN IMAGE SOMEWHERE BUT I CAN'T RECALL WHERE. THIS WILL HAVE TO DO. I SHOULD LET EXPERTS ON WINNIPEG GROUPS DECIDE THIS BUT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH I THINK THESE GUYS WERE PROBABLY SECOND BEST GROUP IN THE MID 60'S BEHIND THE GUESS WHO. BUT SOMEBODY FROM WINNIPEG MAY COME UP WITH SOMEONE BETTER. IT'S JUST MY OPINION FOR WHAT I'VE HEARD ABOUT THEM.

Billion Dollar Brain (1967), directed by Ken Russell, is the third of the Harry Palmer films ('Ipcress File' and 'Funeral in Berlin'). Palmer, working as a private investigator, receives a strange phone call and is paid to take a package to Helsinki, Finland. He does not know that he is about to encounter his old acquaintance Leo Newbiggin (Karl Malden) -- nor that the package contains virus-filled eggs that have been stolen from the British government's research facility at Porton Down. Later, he is coerced into working once more for the British secret service by Colonel Ross. He must become a member of the 'Crusade for Freedom' organisation (an ultra-right-wing group led by maniacal oil-billionaire 'General' Midwinter) and thwart its planned attempt at liberating Latvia from Soviet domination, which would cause a worldwide conflict; he must also recover the stolen virus for the British.

Directed by Jelle Posthuma (Corrino Media Group) Armin van Buuren went through an amazing 2007. He won several awards like the Dutch Pop Award and he got voted number 1 DJ of the world by the readers of the British leading dance magazine DJ Mag. A couple of years ago, Armin was playing at his weekly night Armada hosts in Amnesia, Ibiza. In the audience was the talented producer, DJ Shah from Germany, who decided to step up to Armin and give him his new track. Now in 2008 that same guy teamed up with Armin van Buuren and Chris Jones to deliver this new single! April 19th this year Armin will launch his new artist album called "Imagine" at the Armin Only event which holds the same name as the album. "Going Wrong" is the result of the corporation with German DJ Shah and British singer Chris Jones. Going Wrong is the first single from Armin van Buuren`s forthcoming album "Imagine". http://www.armadamusic.com
