Here is video of the 'TNT' 737 crash-landing at Birmingham Airport (EGBB) This landing happened after the aborted attempt at Nottingham East Midlands, where the right main undercarrige was ripped off and took out the flaps on the right wing. The aircraft is presently sitting on the unused runway at Birmingham Airport and can be seen from the golf course nearby. (So my cousin informs me!) Filmed by a news helicopter that was in the area and handed over to the local Police and Investigation Team, this is probably the best footage of an incident like this I have seen.

The first Halfords Birmingham Superprix (25/08/86) In 1985, the Birmingham City Council passed the Birmingham Road Race Bill, which allowed the Birmingham Superprix for Formula 3000 cars to be held on a circuit of closed streets near the city centre for two days during the August Bank Holiday. Previously, all motor racing on the public streets of mainland Britain had been outlawed (unless specifically allowed for in private legislation). The first Superprix was held in 1986 and was subjected to torrential rain. After extensive delays, this first race was run to a reduced distance. This is a highlights version of the F3000 race. The 9th race of the 1986 F3000 season

The BTCC first raced at the Birmingham Superprix street track in 1989 and it did provide us fantastic racing especially with Murray Walker commentating! The three-way scrap involves Andy Rouse, Tim Harvey and Lawrence Bristow. They used every inch of the track in order to overtake for the lead!

Possibly spun slightly in favour of the Church - Another interview was taken with myself, but not used. Whether this becomes available later on through the internet remains to be seen. Jefferson County Republican Straw Poll Birmingham, AL October 13, 2007 John Sophocleus is interviewed, followed by Rev John Killian's speech and a reading of the results of the poll. Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation's capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. Brief Overview of Congressman Paul's Record: He has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES!!! It's Spring in the South. And Birmingham Alabama is host to one of the oldest and largest Sanit Patrick Day Parades in the Southeast. The parade travels north on 20th Street to the delight of both the crowds who line the streets and the folks in the office buildings that tower over historic Birmingham Green in the middle of downtown. It's about having fun together and ALL being a little Irish for a day. Not to mention the ONLY time you can here a Crimson Tide fan yell "Go Irish!". ;) Enjoy the parade and y'all come see us soon! Cheers and Happy St. Pat from the Magic City!!
