Tiffany had the greatest life.She lived in the southern part of Canada. She had the bestest friend anyone could ask for, and the greatest family. Not to mention she was smart at school. The only thing Tiffany didn't have, was popularity. She was considered as one of the "freaks" at her school. She never had the attention of any guys at school, and people made fun of her..to her face. Tiffany always thought about ending her life, in other words committing suicide. She never really had the guts to though, well thats what everyone thought until she actually tried. She tried to hang herself in her basement, the day of her 14th birthday! Luckily Natalie, her best friend, came over and saved her life. After that Tiffany had been going to a therapist and it has almost been a year since the "incident." Tiffany is now home schooled, and for comfort, Natalie left school to join her. About two weeks before her birthday Natalie surprised Tiffany with two front row tickets to see her favorite boy band, or bro band as Tiffany calls them. The concert actually happened to be dated the day before Tiffany's birthday. Tiffany hesitated to go but she decided to, because who would miss up an opportunity to see this concert. The day of the concert Tiffany and Natalie went early, to see if they could get a couple of backstage passes. The were in luck, since they were the first people there they got them. As the day went by Natalie and Tiffany were getting more and more nervous. Around the time of 7:00 the went to go find their seats. When Natalie said she had front row she wasn't kidding, they actually had front row seats. The opening act was Demi Lovato. Tiffany and Natalie didn't really like her, but as she sang they started to like her. She had great music with wonderful stage presence. Finally when she was finished, the band everyone was waiting for came on. The began to sing, and Tiffany was mesmerized. She loved this band, and couldn't believe that they were that close to her. Around the end of the concert the boys got to chose one person from the audience to sing to. I guess Tiffany was in the right spot because they chose her. She went on stage and started to tear. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. The whole time she was being sung to she could only think about how Natalie was the best friend anyone could have. If it wasn't for Natalie she wouldn't be on stage right now, if it wasn't for Natalie her life would be hell. Then she started to think about the most important thing Natalie did for her. If it wasn't for Natalie she wouldn't be living. When Tiffany was signaled to get off stage and find her seat again, she ran to Natalie and gave her a hug. Natalie was confuse "what was that for?" she asked. All Tiffany could say is "For everything." Natalie let out a smile, and they continued to watch the concert.

Christian just has a heart and soul that has awakened and strengthened a love for animals in millions of people,This video speaks for itself. The backstory is that Christian was separated from his parents at an early age and put up for sale in a London department store. Christian's parents were zoo lions, the father came from the Rotterdam zoo and the mother from Jerusalem, and they lived at the Ilfracombe zoo. When they had cubs, the zoo sold them, and two cubs went to the department store. Two men, Anthony Bourke and John Rendall, found him there and immediately fell in love with him and determined to buy him. They scraped together the money and brought the little lion home when he was only a few weeks old. Tony and John dedicated themselves to giving Christian the best life they could, and the bond that developed between them is a joy to behold. Christian was a remarkable lion, obviously very intelligent and loving, and gentle to everyone, both human and animal. As he grew, Christian began to need bigger facilities than Tony and John could provide. Thanks to a chance meeting with Bill Travers (who had starred in the movie Born Free), they hit upon the idea of sending Christian to Africa to live as a wild lion. Bill Travers contacted George Adamson to set up the project, and came up with the idea of making a documentary movie of it all, this movie, to fund the project. The movie starts with a re-creation of when Travers was introduced to Christian. Everything from then on was filmed as it happened. Christian is an absolute joy to watch in this movie. The love he shows, his intelligence, his joie de vie, are beautiful. As the movie unfolds, you begin to realize that as much as George Adamson was a bridge between the worlds of humans and animals, so was Christian. The first step when Christian arrived at George's compound, was to introduce him to Boy, a lion who had been in the movie Born Free and who George had already sent "back" to the wild, without losing his close relationship with him. Christian and Boy eventually became best friends, and within a year Christian was living as a wild lion. When a year had passed, Tony and John came to Africa to see Christian. After a year of struggle, tragedies, and life with a pride of lions in the wild, the relationship Christian felt with Tony and John was as strong as it had always been. In fact, Christian's wonderful relationship with Tony and John caused the other lions in the pride to accept and be at peace with them as well.

Ladyslaw Starewicz' childhood passion for entomology led his career: he began producing short documentaries in Moscow around 1909-1910, beginning with a documentary about insects in Lithuania. In his spare time, he experimented with stop-action films using beetles, which he articulated by wiring the legs to the thorax with sealing wax! This, of course, led to his big breakthrough, released by the Van Kanjonkov Studio of Moscow: "The Battle of the Stag Beetles", the first puppet-animated film. [Note: Emile Cohl previously used stop-motion animation to make a public service announcement film, "The Animated Matches," in 1908... Starewicz was the first to do anything more advanced (i.e., using puppets, telling a story) with the technique.] "...[After the British screening of Starewicz' 1911 film "Beautiful Leukanida,"] London newspapers wrote that the insects were alive, trained by an unidentified Russian scientist..." --- Bendazzi Starewicz' popularity grew quickly... his third film, "The Ant & The Grasshopper", earned him an honor from the Tsar himself. At that time Starewicz also played some comedic roles in polish dramas, decorated some churches (!), and "people say he always drew attention to himself at the ball by wearing the most wonderful costumes." He produced dozens of works during this period, including "Insects Aviation Week" (1912), "Four Devils" (1913) and "Voyage To the Moon" (1913). The Russian Revolution caused Ladislaw to emigrate. He fled to Paris, France, arriving in 1920, where he became known as Ladislas Starevich. He settled in a villa in Fontenay-sous-Bois, where he spent the rest of his life producing surreal, lyrical animation. With great patience and attention to detail, he wrote or adapted the stories; designed and built the puppets, sets and costumes; articulated every movement; and shot each film frame-by-frame, often without continuity notes. After 1924, his daughter, Irene (aka Nina Starr), assisted with and appeared in many of his films. Fiercely independent, Starewicz rejected lucrative offers from American animation studios, rather than relinquish creative control. At his villa home, he was known for his generosity and hospitality, especially to his fellow refugees from the Soviet Union. Although "The Mascot" is his best known film in America, his best film is probably "The Tale of the Fox (Le Roman de Renard," a film which took over ten years to make, and is considered to be one of the very best stop-motion films ever made. At his death in 1965, he left one unfinished work: "Like Dog and Cat". Despite his influence on many of today's animators, which is seen in such films as Henry Selick's "James & the Giant Peach," Starewicz is under-recognized today because many of his films were considered lost, and those which exist are rarely screened. However, the British Film Institute has been locating and restoring early prints, and several video compilations have reached the home market.

In 2001 Director, Chris Schwager teamed up with Producer, Brendan Southall and began 'Ridge Films', a Sydney based video production company. The Mock-Documentary 'It Won't Suck Itself', was an experimental comedy made for Sydney's Tropfest the year after. The films direction and storyline relied on character development and scene objectives opposed to heavy scripting. Due to time restraints, a lot of content wouldn't fit the original cut of 'It Won't Suck Itself', and after years of deciding whether to make a longer edit, we thought it would be easier just to take all the good bits from the day and stick them together. Chapter 17 - MARATHON 11/15 It was 10:17 on Saturday morning and Maryanne had just woken up. She still had all her clothes on from the night before. She walked over to her mirror and took a good look at herself. She was a mess! Her hair was a complete mess, sticking up everywhere. 'Kind of like Joe's' she thought. As if that wasn't bad enough, her make-up was a complete mess too. It was all over her face. She looked like a clown from one of those scary movies. She hopped into the shower and changed. When it came to deciding on what clothes to wear she took awhile, because it was also the outfit she was going to wear when she went out with Ryan a few hours later. She chose her black skinny jeans and a silver, sparkly dressy top. She curled her hair and put it up with her bangs straightened and down. She didn't put any socks on because she was going to wear her heels later. She applied black eyeliner and dark silver eye shadow. She walked down the stairs and saw Joe there, as usual eating all the food in her house. She fixed herself a bowl of cereal and plopped down next to Joe. "My, my, you look pretty today." He said and she giggled. "Well thank you Joseph. I wish I could say the same about you but you're still wearing your barney pajama's." She raised one eyebrow and laughed. He blushed. "These are my favorite pajama's you know." He said which made Maryanne laugh more and she almost choked on her cereal. "So, what happened between you and Nick yesterday?" Joe asked slowly. Maryanne put her head down. "Uh, we got into another fight." "About?" "Ryan and how he thinks he's a jerk" "Oh" "Yeah...Well you better go because I still have to finish getting ready for my date with him later. I'll see you later after my date." She said and he left. (Usually on Saturdays, her mom and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas go out so all the kids stay at the Jonas' till they come back. Sometimes Maryanne usually end up crashing there for the night. No one ever seems to mind that she does, seeing that she has become close to them.) Maryanne walked up to her room and watched tv. 2 hours later she fell asleep. She woke up at 5pm. 'Crap!' She thought. 'I fell asleep again and it’s 6! Ryan is supposed to pick me up at 7!' She walked over to her mirror and looked at herself again. 'Great. My hair is a mess and so is my makeup.' Once again, she got into the shower and changed back into her original outfit. She re-did her hair and makeup. She finished right on time because Ryan rang the doorbell as soon as she finished slipping on her heels. She walked downstairs and opened her door to see Ryan standing there. "Hey. Whoa, you look sexy!" He said. Maryanne raised her eyebrows. From the whole time she was dating Ryan he never called her that, plus whenever guys call her "sexy" it makes her feel uncomfortable. "Ha, um, yeah. Anyways...where are we going?" She asked. "We’re going dancing at the club." He said. "The club...? As in the place to get drunk and make-out with random guys?" "Yeah, but don't worry. Nothing's going to happen." He smirked and took her hand and they began walking to the club. 'Nothing's going to happen, my ass' Ryan thought.
