Plan 9 from Outer Space is a 1959 science fiction/horror film written, produced and directed by Edward D. Wood, Jr. The film stars Gregory Walcott, Mona McKinnon, Tor Johnson and Maila "Vampira" Nurmi. The film also claims to posthumously star Bela Lugosi through use of archive footage, although Lugosi's character is primarily portrayed by chiropractor Tom Mason. The plot of the film is focused on a race of extraterrestrial beings who are seeking to stop humans from creating a doomsday weapon that would destroy the universe. In the course of doing so, the aliens implement "Plan 9", a scheme to resurrect earth's dead as zombies to get the planet's attention, causing chaos.

Here's an interview I did many years ago with Man Or Astroman at the Cherry Hill Club (Or was it Signal Hill Club? Someone help me out here...) near Long Beach, CA. Coco and Birdstuff were very gracious but way too tired after the night's crazyness to be asked questions, so we reached a compromise and they just interviewed eachother. The live clip is shot with that super-high gain because it's the only way I could get anything to come out. I've seen MOA? many many times in my day but that night was by far the wildest...Thank god they were nice enough to let me shoot from the side of the stage, otherwise I would have been crushed by the astroman-adoring crowd. Oh and that's Dexter X behind the camera as 'Juan the Cigar Smoking Monkey' and throwing the duct tape. Enjoy!
