Then Honda crashed Nissan's party with the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe. The 2008 Honda Accord Coupe brought us an epiphany. As we said sarcastically when we first drove it, "An Accord coupe can do your income taxes. If you need a root canal, Accord coupe is your car...but humpin' and pumpin' is not an Accord coupe's strong suit." And yet we realized that this isn't the Accord coupe we remember — it's fun. The Accord coupe proves that Honda knows how to put some life into a car built from a sedate sedan.

Altima 3.5 Nismo

We were in my Dad's work car. His car was a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S, he used this as a grunt car for work (Long trips, hauling parts, ect...). Mainly because it got good gas mileage. I was driving my Dads work car home from a mall, on the expressway. I was going 72MPH (Speed limit is 70). Just driving and driving because the mall is about 1/2 hour away. I moved into the left lane as I was approaching an on-ramp. I can't remember much after that, but my Mom who was in the backseat told me that a tractor trailer lost control on the on ramp and slid sideways onto the expressway over the median and the barrier on the opposite side. The front of our car (Hood and roof) slid under the trailer of the truck and we were partially run over by the back tires. We were dragged across two lanes and into a barrier, hitting the barrier caused very minor damage as the car was crooked while being pushed. The truck slid for another 15 feet and rolled over, we came to a stop just short of hitting the truck again. This car had been through a lot in 2 years, from being rear ended twice to having the interior replaced because of water damage (left the all the windows down during a severe storm, everything inside was destroyed). The videos aren't of me driving, they don't have the crash in it. Tried a different music theme.

Built on the same front-wheel-drive platform as the Altima sedan, the 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe is an attempt to inject some life into the otherwise invisible midsize coupe segment. Nissan figured a good place to start was in the design department, giving the Altima coupe almost entirely new sheet metal. Although it shares some obvious similarities to the sedan, the only shared piece of bodywork between the two is the hood.
