The Directors of Animal Welfare (DAWs) are dedicated individuals who have been appointed (usually by a Neighborhood Council) to be the eyes and ears for the animals in their areas. They will work with the local Neighborhood Council or City Council to tackle animal issues, to pass proposals and resolutions and to hold events, such as those related to adoptions and spay/neuter. UPDATE: In this tape I inform the police that my court transcripts were altered under Judge Sheffield. Judge Sheffield has now admitted altering my court transcripts. The court house staff also erased the comments from the official court house tape. Of course no charges are pending. Cops search threw house looking for a 14 year old who was wrongly removed from his home. Cop says it's OK for them to lie. Mom was just about to sue a Kingston city police officer. Mom finds out she lost in court because her lawyers father was an inspector on the force she was about to sue. Don'r conflict of interest account for anything anymore.

The Glide Church, dubbed by some the 'strangest Place in America', is helping those most in need. Led by the larger-than-life Reverend Cecil Williams, his truly caring congregation deal with the grim reality for those on the streets. We follow Sunday Southworth, former crack addict and prostitute, now an AIDS out-reach worker, giving condoms and first aid to her old friends. While conservatives rejoice at the imposed limit of two years to find a job, many living in poverty say that Middle America has rejected them. A victim of incest, and a recovering drug addict, Jennifer recounts her extraordinary story - one which took her "to hell and back". Her mother Diane has to look after eight children on $80 a week. The reformers may argue in favour of the 'no excuses policy', but it was Glide that ultimately saved Jennifer's life. As Glide members, black and white, sing ecstatic gospel together, they know full well that they "can only pick up so much". If families do fail to meet the two year deadline then Clinton's Welfare Reform may become a welfare disaster
