Just a quick overview of the way I do song construction using Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro software. There are some cases when I get the opportunity to have a real live drummer do the complete drum track from start to finish like with my Hey Joe covers, but generally I use Smart Loops (a type of acid loop) which are very convenient are actually recordings of a pro drummer's work broken into segments.

Three potential tracks from the scrapped 2007 Fugees album. After being unable to reconcile their differences, the Fugees abandoned the idea of a group project. However, before fully throwing the idea away, they had completed three songs. Two of which were released for a month via Verizon. One which was released nationwide. These are those songs. Foxy Wanna Be and the already released Take It Easy. Though Verizon sponsored the release of Foxy and WannaBe via the internet, the songs were not heavily downloaded, saved, etc., and are still rare.

RAPIDSHARE DOWNLOAD: I have merged both the bass tests together and uploaded the file as a sound file only, which is in .wav format. I've fiddled around with a couple of the sound settings and tried to level out some areas as they were considerably louder or quieter than other parts of the video. Hopefully the final version should come out in near perfect quality, but let me know if there's any overwhelming distortion.
