This popular song is from the film Telugu Jagadame. It a mix of various melodies and styles, with mindless Hong Kong-style superhero fistfights and even a Ganapati Bappa Moriya thrown in. But I'll admit, its a fun song regardless :)
Most non-Indian's don't realize: there's a lot of great non-Hindi cinema and music out there, literally outputting twice as much as the more popular Hindi Bollywood industry, though the two genres may be related.
On a related note, I've always wondered why Desis or people of Indian origin who can't speak the language and have to rely on reading subtitles of movies they watch (I'm guilty too!) are completely ignorant of other genres of popular Indian music, and deny themselves the opportunity to listen to some damn good tunes.
