This is just a tiny bit of my footage of the complete concert in Utrecht and just a small excerpt of Kala's brilliant rendering of this afternoon raag after the break, lasting 30 minutes. Her unique and very inspired playing definitely brought some magic in the air amongst the audience in Utrecht. The sound comes from an external mic, placed on my camcorder. Unforgettable concert. The excerpt shown here is published in agreement with Kala Ramnath.
I portrayed Kala Ramnath in a radiodocumentary for "Vox Humana", a programme of the Radio Netherlands english section, it was broadcasted in January 2007, containing this concert material and material from my short film 'All in one bow' (2006 / 18 minutes).
