With the term "tachion" physics identifies a particle held to be theoretic, capable of traveling at a speed faster than light.
At the end of the nineteenth century Nikola Tesla noted during an eclipse of the sun certain anti-gravitational phenomena: delving further into this he discovered an energy field which he patented under the name "cosmic energy", in that all the universe is immersed in it.
