The Choir sings an arrangement by Mack Wilberg, words by John Newman: Lead, kindly Light, amid th'encircling gloom, lead Thou me on! The night is dark, and I am far from home; lead Thou me on! Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see The distant scene; one step enough for me. I was not ever thus, nor prayed that Thou shouldst lead me on; I loved to choose and see my path; but now lead Thou me on! I loved the garish day, and, spite of fears, Pride ruled my will. Remember not past years! So long Thy power hath blest me, sure it still will lead me on. O'er moor and fen, o'er crag and torrent, till the night is gone, And with the morn those angel faces smile, which I Have loved long since, and lost awhile! Lead Thou me on! Lead Thou me on! Lead Thou me on!

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing the great hymn, "Come Come Ye Saints" in an arrangment by Mack Wilberg. Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear; But with joy wend your way. Though hard to you this journey may appear, Grace shall be as your day. 'Tis better far for us to strive Our useless cares from us to drive; Do this, and joy your hearts will swell— All is well! All is well! Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard? 'Tis not so; all is right. Why should we think to earn a great reward If we now shun the fight? Gird up your loins; fresh courage take. Our God will never us forsake; And soon we'll have this tale to tell— All is well! All is well! We'll find the place which God for us prepared, Far away in the West, Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid; There the Saints will be blessed. We'll make the air with music ring, Shout praises to our God and King; Above the rest these words we'll tell— All is well! All is well! And should we die before our journey's through, Happy day! All is well! We then are free from toil and sorrow, too; With the just we shall dwell! But if our lives are spared again To see the Saints their rest obtain, Oh, how we'll make this chorus swell— All is well! All is well!

This video is filled with breath taking and inspirational photos/arts plus bible verses. I hope it touches and inspire you all! ENJOY!!! Please checkout my channel for Christian movies (The Passion Of The Christ), music and uplifting sermons!! Thanks! Psalms 121 1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Yale University's Thomas Murray performed the Prelude in G minor in 1989. The world-reknowned instrument is one of the great works of G. Donald Harrison & Aeolian-Skinner. It's a V/147/206. Again, very few internet pix of the organ or the Tabernacle, so I've had to resort to some artsy stuff for filler. The music is from a CD of an analog tape of an air check of a live concert, so you can imagine what effect those re-incarnations have had on sound quality.

In an arrangement by Mack Wilberg, words by Charles Wesley: Love divine, all loves excelling, joy of heaven, to earth come down; fix in us thy humble dwelling; all thy faithful mercies crown! Jesus thou art all compassion, pure, unbounded love thou art; visit us with thy salvation; enter every trembling heart. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit into every troubled breast! Let us all in thee inherit; let us find the promised rest. Take away the love of sinning; Alpha and Omega be; end of faith, as its beginning, set our hearts at liberty. Come, Almighty to deliver, let us all thy life receive; suddenly return and never, nevermore thy temples leave. Thee we would be always blessing, serve thee as thy hosts above, pray and praise thee without ceasing, glory in thy perfect love. Finish, then, thy new creation; pure and spotless let us be. Let us see thy great salvation perfectly restored in thee; changed from glory into glory, till in heaven we take our place, till we cast our crowns before thee, lost in wonder, love, and praise.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sings Mack Wilberg's arrangment of the traditional folk hymn "Bound for the Promised Land." On Jordan's stormy banks I stand And cast a wishful eye To Canaan's fair and happy land, Where my possesions lie. Chorus I am bound for the promised land, I am bound for the promised land O who will come and go with me I am bound for the promised land. O the transporting rapt'rous scene That rises to my sight; Sweet fields arrayed in living green And rivers of Delight. Chorus I am bound for the promised land, I am bound for the promised land O who will come and go with me I am bound for the promised land. There generous fruits that never fail On trees immortal grow; There rocks and hills and brooks and vales With milk and honey flow. Chorus I am bound for the promised land, I am bound for the promised land O who will come and go with me I am bound for the promised land.

The ultimate American Classic organ -- the V/147/206 Aeolian-Skinner, G. Donald Harrison's masterpiece. Thomas Murray, one of the genuinely Nice Guys of the organ world, recorded this in 1989 -- right after a massive renovation/restoration by the Schoenstein organ folks. Frederick Delius's "On Hearing the First Cuckoo of Spring" was transcribed for organ by Eric Fenby. The Tabernacle organ & Tom Murray's instrument @ Woolsey Hall/Yale are 2 of only a handful of instruments with a tonal palette (& a luscious string ensemble) capable of doing justice to this piece. In fact, Tom has recorded this on the Woolsey organ for the Gothic label: "The Transcriber's Art." There are, surprisingly, very few available pictures of the Tabernacle organ, so I've had to resort to adding a few "Spring"-like pictures to the video as filler. The recording is taken from a CD of a tape recording of an air check of a live concert; it even has the requisite coughing person near the end.

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain. Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end. Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake To guide the future, as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below. Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on When we shall be forever with the Lord. When disappointment, grief and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored. Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

The Tabernacle is known in Hebrew as the Mishkan ( משכן "Place of [Divine] dwelling"). It was to be a portable central place of worship for the Hebrews from the time they left ancient Egypt following the Exodus, through the time of the Book of Judges when they were engaged in conquering the land of Canaan, until the time its elements were made part of the final Temple in Jerusalem about the 10th century BC. The English word "tabernacle" is derived from the Latin word tabernaculum meaning "tent." Tabernaculum itself is a diminutive form of the word taberna, meaning "hut, booth, tavern." The word sanctuary is also used as its name, as well as the phrase the "tent of meeting". ------------ New Arc of the Convenant -------- Luke 1 (Mary visits cousin Elizabeth) and 2 Samuel 6 (Ark brought to Jerusalem) reveal great typology supporting Mary as the Ark of the New Covenant. Why? In the OT the 10 Commandments were found in the Arc, in the NT, John 1:14 and John 1:1 we see that Jesus now is the word who became flesh, Jesus is GOD, so Mary is the Arc as described in Rev 11:19, at this point in history, the Ark of the Old Covenant was not seen for six centuries (see 2 Macc. 2:7), and now it is finally seen in heaven. The Jewish people would have been absolutely amazed at this. However, John immediately passes over this fact and describes the "woman" clothed with the sun in Rev. 12:1. John is emphasizing that Mary is the Ark of the New Covenant and who, like the Old ark, is now worthy of veneration and praise. Also remember that Rev. 11:19 and Rev. 12:1 are tied together because there was no chapter and verse at the time these texts were written. ________________________________________ Luke 1:39-40 - During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. 2 Samuel 6:2 - Then David and all the people who were with him set out for Baala of Judah to bring up from there the ark of the God, which bears the name of the Lord of hosts enthroned above the cherubim. ________________________________________ Luke 1:43 - "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" 2 Samuel 6:9 - David feared the Lord that day and said, "How can the ark of the Lord come to me?" ________________________________________ Luke 1:44 - "For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy." 2 Samuel 6:16 - As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Saul´s daughter Michal looked down through the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord... ________________________________________ Luke 1:45 - "Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled." 2 Samuel 6:18 - When he finished making these offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts. ________________________________________ Luke 1:56 - Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home. 2 Samuel 6:11 - The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obededom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obededom and his whole house. http://www.scripturecatholic.com/blessed_virgin_mary.html MESSIANIC PROPHECIES FULFILLED BY JESUS CHRIST http://www.scripturecatholic.com/messianic_prophecies.html Testmony of 3 Jews http://www.ewtn.com/vondemand/audio/dload1.asp?rafile=jh_10292007.rm&source=seriessearchprog.asp&seriesID=-6892289&T1= KGB and the plot to taint 'Nazi pope' http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article1400670.ece Chief Rabbi convertion testmony http://www.salvationisfromthejews.com/alljews.html#zolli Recommend book http://www.ewtnreligiouscatalogue.com/DAWN+OF+THE+MESSIAH+COMING+OF+CHRIST+IN+SCRIPTURE/cid=16/page_no=5/edp_no=13491/shop.axd/ProductDetails ================================== To learn more about our faith click link below http://www.catholicbasictraining.com/apologetics/coursetexts/list.htm ==================================
