Recently a studio recording was found in the basement of Holger, a long time member of the folk group 'Zaba Ryba'. He's currently in rehab. The tape is giving rise to fresh speculations as to why former member, and lead singer, Minka Zamigejki had suddenly left Zaba Ryba while they were still performing during the Kazanluk Rose Festival in Bulgaria.
A few months after that, Holger and Minka had started a new band called 'Vada Riah'. Their cooperation however was short-lived. It's rumored that's because Holger kept a tight leash on his former protege. With not even having a single song released, they quickly acquired a reputation for themselves of having become the 'Ike and Tina Turner' of folk music.
The recording appears to be a one-time, paid for, session that Minka has done with the band 'Primavera En Salonico'. It is now assumed that she was hoping to get noticed by a big record company and perhaps even start a solo career. But somehow it didn't materialize and the recording went unnoticed until it showed up a few days ago, when a county's bailiff auctioned it on e-bay.
ECM has already shown interest in signing Minka to a record deal. They admit to being puzzled as to how such talent unbeknown to herself could also have escaped her environs.

"Sedi Yanna" is a highly energetic piece filled with the excitement and anticipation that a young bethrothed bride-to-be feels.
