This beautiful country property is located atop a natural and secluded Kentucky limestone cliff in the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park Area, along Ky. Hwy. 15, which is a Natureal Scenic By-Way through Powell Country in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. The beautiful rustic log and cedar cabins will accomodate from 2 to 8 people, depending on the cabin.
Accomodation Details: These beautiful, secluded and rustic Vacation Cabins are open year round. The rental rates and number of guests permitted are:

The living areas have gas fireplaces with rockers. They also have air-conditioning, full bathrooms, furnished kitchens, TV/VCR or TV/DVD players and some have open loft overlooking everything below.
Cabins #1,2,3,4 and 5 have a Jacuzzi. They also have wrap-around porches with swings, rockers, tables, chairs and gas grills. Each area has a fire pit for outside campfires (if it is not fire season) and a picnic table.
All members of your family are welcome, bring the pets, they will enjoy this beautiful setting, if they are well behaved. Smoking is also permitted, just let us know when you register.
Surroundings: These log and cedar cabins are nestled in the beautiful hills of Eastern Kentucky and are remote and very secluded. They are only a short distance from the beautiful Red River Gorge area which includes the Nada Tunnel, Natural Bridge State Park and Sky Bridge Park - all within the Daniel Boone National Forest.
While staying at the cabins there are many things to do: Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Hiking, Fishing, ATV Riding, Drag Racing, Golfing or just browsing for antiques and souvenirs.
Lots of good places to eat if you do not want to cook. Some family places and also fast food places.
We accept personal checks (with i.d.) or cash. Call or e-mail for reservations. Our busy months are June thru October.
Nearby Surroundings: Beginners Rock Climbing (with lessons) as well as beautiful cliffs to climb on your own. Hiking the beautiful hills and valleys. Fishing at several streams (some stocked) or at Mill Creek Lane which is a beautiful 50 acre small lake just a few miles away where you can use a trolling motor, or a larger lake at Cave Run in Morehead, Kentucky about 35-40 miles away (for bigger Fishermen). Two public golf courses (Meadows & Beachfork). Go-cart racing facilities. ATV racing facilities, as well as area to go on your own. National sanctioned drag strip. Haroseback riding trails. Hunting (in season). Red River Museum. Browsing for antiques and souveniers. Meadowgreen Park where you will find the best Bluegrass Music in the country. Canoe down the Red River.
Area: Stanton (exit 22) and Slade (exit 33) off Mountain Parkway are small rural towns about 7 miles from the cabins. They have small shops for collectibles, antiques, supplies and groceries.
Dining: Natural Bridge State Park Dining Room, Bruens Restaurant (family home cooking), Food Court (Arby's, Burger King & Long John Silvers), McDonalds, Hardies, Dairy Queen and Sue's Hot Dogs.
