The 26th of my Reenactment Series.
Here it is. Finally.
I didn't get it in before Monday... hence, I didn't leap. Looks like I'm stuck here... dammit.
(Quantum Leap references out of the way...)
I KNEW some of you guys would be disappointed. It's such a great scene, and you've been waiting a long time for it. I'm hearing the same complaints: Bangs were distracting, didn't like the hair, too comical and not serious.
1. I put the "Bangs" in because I thought they were hilarious. I giggled to myself in the glow of my laptop for 5 minutes making that "Bang" montage in the end.
2. I like how you guys think the beard was distracting, and yet the floral quilt hanging in the background, the continuity errors, and even the accidental inclusion of my laptop in one of the takes weren't distracting at all. Again, I just thought the beard was funny.
3. I could never pull off Samuel L. Jackson. He's too badass, especially in this scene. When I can't get someone's mannerisms, I go for a comic portrayal to redeem myself. Sometimes it works and you guys never notice. Other times...
All in all, I was sort of happy with this. It may not be a milestone for what probably will be my last reenactment, but I didn't expect it to.
It's hard to say whether or not I'll do anymore reenactments. I want to move on... there are a lot of things happening in the next few months for me, and I have to concentrate on them. That isn't to say I won't be uploading any more videos, but they may be few and far between from now on.
I'm still here. I just don't know for how long... (and no, I'm not dying)
