Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye is a 1974 Hindi movie produced by Ratan Mohan and directed by S. Ali Raza. The film stars Sunil Dutt, Rekha, Iftekhar, Premnath, Jeevan, Bindu, Madan Puri, Ranjeet and Jayshree T. The film's music is by O. P. Nayyar Born on October 10, 1954 in Chennai, India, Bhanurekha Ganesan (later known simply as "Rekha") is the daughter of renowned Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan and the Telugu actress Pushpavalli. Her father enjoyed phenomenal success and Rekha was to follow in his footsteps. Rekha appeared as a child actor in the Telugu film Rangula Ratnam (1966). Rekha made her debut as heroine in the successful Kannada film Goadalli CID 999 with Dr. Rajkumar in 1969. Also, in 1969, she starred in her first Hindi film Anjana Safar (later retitled Do Shikari). She later claimed that she was tricked into a kissing scene with leading man Biswajit for the overseas market, and the kiss made it to the Asian edition of "Life" magazine. The film ran into censorship problems, and wouldn't be released until a decade later. She had two films released in 1970: the Telugu film Amma Kosam and the Hindi film Sawan Bhadon. She had to learn Hindi language, as her naturally spoken languages were Tamil and Telugu. Sawan Bhadon became a hit, and Rekha — a star overnight. She got several offers but nothing of substance. Her roles were mostly used to be just of a glamour girl. She appeared in several commercially successful films, such as Kahani Kismat Ki, Raampur Ka Lakshman and Pran Jaaye Par Vachan Na Jaaye, yet she was not as regarded for her acting abilities. Her first performance-oriented role came in 1976 when she played an ambitious woman in Do Anjaane, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. The film was a hit, as well as a critical success, and she was widely noticed for her performance. However, her most significant turning point came in 1978, when she portrayed the role of a rape victim in the movie Ghar, alongside Vinod Mehra. The film was considered her first notable milestone, as she got critical acclaim for her performance, and received her first nomination for Best Actress at the Filmfare. In that same year, she first attained real fame with Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, in which she co-starred once again with Amitabh Bachchan. The movie was the biggest hit of that year, as well as one of the biggest hits of the decade, and Rekha was set as one of the most successful actresses of these times. Apart from being a commercial success, the film opened to positive critical reception, and Rekha's performance earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Filmfare. She next took part in a number of films, such as Parineeta. In 2006, she was seen in the sequel to Koi... Mil Gaya, Krrish, one of the most successful films of the year. In 2007, she once again portrayed a courtesan in Gautam Ghose's Yatra. Unlike the initial success she had in playing such roles in the early stages of her career, this time the film failed to do well. Rekha is thus one of the few Hindi film actresses who had the versatility to carry with equal aplomb such diverse roles as that of the brattish schoolgirl of Khubsoorat, the sultry siren of Muqaddar ka Sikandar, the school-maarmish housewife of Ijaazat and classical courtesan in Umrao Jaan. Her diction and dialogue delivery in Hindi and Urdu, languages that were not natural to her, is an example even to native speakers of those tongues. She imbues every role she essayed with a dignity and characterization that makes it difficult to visualize anyone but her in those roles. In doing so, she has carved an indelible name for herself in the annals of Indian cinema. Rekha has had various unsuccessful relationships with fellow Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Mehra and in 1990 she married Delhi-based businessman Mukesh Aggarwal, who committed suicide in 1991. She was rumored to have been married to actor Vinod Mehra in 1973, but in a 2004 television interview with Simi Garewal she denied being married to him calling him a "well-wisher".

P. Nayyar "Bindu was born to film producer Nanubhai Desai and his wife Jyotsna, a stage actress. Bindu's road to success was not an easy one. With her father's demise at the young age of 13 and being the eldest daughter, the burden of earning a daily meal fell on her young, frail shoulders. It was only after her marriage to Gujurati businessman Champaklal Zaveri that she got her first film offer. The film was"anpadh"along with dharmendra ,mala sinha, then Raj Khosla's Do Raaste (1969). From here she went on to write her success story with Shakti Samanta's Kati Patang (1970) where she had a sizzling "Mera Naam Shabbo" to her credit, a number which is even today remembered as the highlight of the film Kati Patang. Bindu announced her arrival on the scene as a vamp, an image which her contemporaries Helen and Aruna Irani were famous for around that time. Bindu was beautiful, busty and fair-skinned, ready made sex symbol of the Hindi film industry. Kati Patang was only the beginning; followed by Ittefaaq (1969) and Imtihaan (1974), with her mesmerizing performances as a seductress in Imtihaan and as a nymphomaniac in Hawas (1974), left audiences asking for more. With a string of hits behind her, she successfully managed to break out of the myth that married actresses usually do not go to become sex symbols, especially in the Hindi film industry. Bindu was much more than just a sex symbol. Her acting ability was seen in films like Hrishikesh Mukherjee's films Arjun Pandit and Abhimaan 1973, where she won raves for playing a very sympathetic character. She also acted in Chaitali. She proved to be just as convincing as the crippled woman in Chaitali and as the deglamourised role of wife to Ashok Kumar, in Arjun Pandit. Unfortunately, the 5'6" tall busty beauty Bindu was never offered roles as the leading lady despite being extremely photogenic, blessed with a flawless complexion and sharp features. Her being married perhaps came in the way of her being offered roles as the main female lead. Thus, she lost out on the chance of being the leading lady in her films. Bindu was a stunning beauty, equally stunning without any make up. She is known for her alabaster skin and smooth complexion. With her looks, histrionic ability, voluptuous figure and fair skin, she could have given all the leading ladies of Bollywood a run for their money. But this was not to be. An impending pregnancy, followed by an unfortunate miscarriage, brought about a lull in her career and on the advice of her doctors she had to end her stint as the glamorous vamp -- dancing and all. However, she did not stay away for long and returned back to the silver screen with character roles -- Hero, Biwi Ho To Aisi and Kishen Kanhaiya and with many other such movies she managed to re-establish herself as the unmerciful and cruel ma-in-law, or the cynical bua, chachi, mausi... Today, Bindu leads a low-profile life and makes fewer on-screen appearances, like the one in Shola Aur Shabnam which brought to the forefront the comic trait to her as an actress. She followed this with her light performance as the tip-top chachi in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and the Shahrukh Khan starrer Main Hoon Na. Although many came and tried to fill the vacuum left by Bindu, none could match up to her heights. After Bindu, no one seen that kind of success, nor has anybody been able to imitate this gorgeous actress
