Me noodling through my Peavey Valve King 212 with Eminence Man-O-War speakers. I was unhappy with the harsh, brash sound of the amp until I put a Boss GE-7 EQ in the effects loop and cut 1.6K almost completely. It really smoothed out the tone quite a bit and is a lot closer to the Marshall sound I like. I am playing my Epiphone Les Paul Studio with Gibson Burstbucker PRO pickups.

a quick guide I made to the peavey bandit 112 transistor amp. Great little amp for the money, great tone for blues on the vintage settings. Any questions please feel free to ask. NOTE: Please disregard the "Clean Channel" stuff at the start and end of the guitar solos I cropped the video down and took out more chatting so all the stuff is on the "Lead" channel with very little pre amp gain and all the same settings as mentioned at the start of the video. Killer blues sound?

Hi YouTube friends, I got a new amp this weekend... a few months ahead of plan. The playing here isn't to be taken seriously, it's just me wanking away so you can hear the new rig. It's the Peavey JSX (Joe Satriani model) and I also bought the accompanying 4x12 cab. I used the Crunch for the rhythm playing and the Ultra for the leads. Next time I will make sure to turn it up louder so you can't hear my picking hand live. Also, sorry about PDX Jr interrupting the video, but he just can't keep away from all the lights, knobs and switches either, LOL. Fortunately, he was only messing with the knobs for one of the channels I wasn't using! Anyway, I'd love to chat with others out there that have the JSX, so please drop me a line. I'm particularly interested in talking about different settings, if you have swapped out the EL34s for 6L6 tubes, and direct recording tips (if you have the cab too). Thanks! Dave
