I was given a clothespin with this question on it: What do you overlook? This movie is what is the result of much pondering and confusion and having no idea what the hell I was doing for a while... This is my third assignment completed in my Filmmaking I class. Yes, there are many, MANY errors, mainly due to the fact that I had to film between two days and we couldn't get everything each day and other small things that got everything confusing... But overall, I think it turned out pretty good for a total n00blet when it comes to filmmaking. :D

Okay, so I was supposed to upload this tomorrow but I had impatience locked into my mind. That, and I barely received any requests over the past week at all, and I hate quiet weeks. -_- Please, send me a few more requests; full info is at the end of the video. But right, this fourth preview for Dragon Rhapsody Volume 2 covers one of my favourite bosses - Gulpp's Overlook, as requested from crashb648. I thought this would be a major challenge given the more intense sounds and progressions as shown in the original track as well as not quite being as melodically concise as some of the other boss themes in the series, but I was proved wrong when I started to get into the meat of it all and I'm glad that everything managed to pay off this way. :D Gameplay wise, once again I had to end up doing a re-take after re-adjusting my camera, and just like with Metropolis I couldn't find a way to go back and get rid of my super flame breath, so that meant being more careful with trying to layer damage without it. The only instances in which I did use it were for the second hit (which is a requirement since for some reason, it can't trigger the fuses on the bombs) and the last hit (where I tried to get a chicken with it but one of the shots hit him for some reason; I thought I had enough footage to use for the recording anyway so I accepted my plight). In my series of videos called "Spyro 2 (Gateway To Glimmer): Boss Stages" I show you guys how to complete a certain boss stage succesfully. I've seen that much people requested RedDevilDazzy to defeat the bosses without the superflame power-up. That brought me to the idea of making 2 video's of every boss stage: 1 with the superflame powerup, 1 without. Boss Stage: Gulp's Overlook. Boss: Gulp. Boss #: 2 (2nd boss). Spyro Blunders 1: This video contains a lot of blunders, there are 3 blunders where I hit myself while attacking Gulp (1:17, 1:51 and 3:33) and there are 3 blunders where I get hit by Gulp (1:47, 2:33 and 2:52).

But anyway, this video is made as a birthday submission for RedDevilDazzy, someone among one of the most prominant gurus that hang around Youtube. He was among one of the first personnel to get me settled down here, and he even went as far as to use some of my music in his own Spyro Blunders stuff. Given the link we formed in the past several months, I felt I should return the favor somehow. One instance on MSN had him asking for me wanting to do some PS1 Spyro recordings. Though I know that the quality of which won't measure up to his own, I thought I'd use that as the focus for the video. I took Spyro 2 with me to university to play around with (my fave in the PS1 set), and after hearing that his favorite part in that game were the bosses, most notably Gulp's Overlook, I started planning ahead. So as a result we have a video of me going to combat the green oversized monster. Simple as that. Ammunition is thrown aside, chickens are desperately consumed, and spanking is seen as some interesting asset, lol. Watch out for any form of randomness that happens at 7:30 though. (I made that image myself BTW, along with the Glimmer and Happy Birthday arrangements.) Also I know that the obese guy in Austin Powers is known as Fat Bastard, but bear in mind that I've got family starting to see my stuff, so I need to be careful with what I say o_O Anyway, long description over. I hope this goes down well, and I should hopefully see you sometime later. Happy turning 21, Darren - now go get a tattoo. :p

This video was taken from an outdoor party in August of 1988 in front of Robin's place on Salt Point Road near Sackets Harbor N.Y. (cool barn backdrop!!) courtesy of Larry Greene (Ate Trax Studios, Pulaski, N.Y.) and features original music by Wirlwind. The line-up for the party reunion of most of the original band consisted of Robin Davis on bass guitar and vocals, Sam DeFranco on lead guitar, Rick Bergeron on drums, Marc Chauvette on rhythm guitar and keyboards. The original keyboard player, Ronnie Wyeth, was not present but greatly missed on keyboards. Wayne Craig worked the sound desk that day. The sound was a bit dead from taping with the camera's mic, so I worked up a new quick master of the audio and linked it up to the video. As I recall, Robin came up with the original idea from a place in Watertown known as Thompson Park. Heavy partying took place there at a huge stone wall called "the overlook", hence the name of the tune. This was always one of my Wirlwind favorites. Thanks for the memories Larry, and a great tune Robin!!

Yes the second boss in the game-(wheres the first one you ask?) Deleted by accident - Damn you Windows movie maker! Right i've been playing spyro 2 again and i'm showing you the boss battles you encounter during the game. Second boss here is gulp he's pretty easy once you know how to use the rockets ect... I beat him in stylish fashion (it's been a while, believe me!) And go on to Winter tundra.
