The world's first rock 'n' roll theme park, Hard Rock Park, is turning up the volume in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Opening in May 2008, this 55-acre theme park will rock out with over 50 attractions for rockers of all ages, including roller coasters, shows, children's play areas, restaurants, cafes and retail stores and a multi-purpose live music amphitheatre.

Hard Rock Park is putting a whole new spin on the modern family vacation. Rather than having separate child-only areas, the Park is built around six "rock environs" that are themed to a specific genre of music, each of which contains rides and shows for all ages, restaurants, shops, and more so that quality time together is something families can actually take advantage of rather than going their separate ways.
