Perry talks in Israel with his tour group. They are in the territory where the tribe of Gad once controlled. First He talks about Israel coming out of Egyptian bondage. He gives us how many men where in the tribes of Israel. He tells us why Joshua had to take his shoe off and Give it to the captain of the Lord. Perry Stone talks about 2 ½ tribes that didn't go into the promise land but stayed and did not go into the promise land. Three times a year men had to go and worship God. The group of people who had to go the furthest to worship God was the tribe of Gad. Gad and the other 1 ½ tribes built an altar near them. The other tribes and the high priest permitted it because Gad and the other tribes said it was to teach there children about God and to remind them. Jesus encountered more demons in the area of Gad than anywhere else in Israel. You should have a place in your house that you can meat with God at but that should not be you main altar. Your main altar should be at your church with his people. The Jesus factor will conquer the Gad factor.

When Moses brought them out there were 12 main tribes of Israel

So he drew off his shoe. 9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.
Number 32:29-32 -- 2 ½ tribes decided to cross the Jordan River and inherit the promise land but to take land on the other side of the Jordan. - 29 and Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the Lord, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession: 30 but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan. 31 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the Lord hath said unto thy servants, so will we do. 32 We will pass over armed before the Lord into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.
Deuteronomy 6:10-11 - 10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 and houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full
Why they want to fall short of what God had promised them? -- Moses was buried on that side of the Jordan
Deuteronomy 34:5-6 -- God buried Moses and He didn't want them to find where Moses was buried - 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
