Directed by Zeina Aboul Hosn (Lebanon)
After years of civil war, most Lebanese were coming to terms with their nation's past and looking forward to a peaceful future. Director Zeina Aboul Hosn visited Beirut a week before the war began. This film is a journey through her memories of Beirut -- as the bombs started falling.
Zeina Aboul Hosn writes and directs short documentaries about Lebanon. Her first, I Remember Lebanon, has screened at film festivals around the world and on television in the United Kingdom. She is currently a producer of news features and documentaries for Channel 4 News in London: TV Iraqi Style, Dispatches: Iraq: The Woman's Story and Jihad TV.
