Rohan Kapadia started his music at 3, when his father taught him how to play the keyboard, guitar.
His first solo performance was at 4.
Later, Rohan learnt how to play harmonium.
He has been learning classical tabla from Guruji Tapan Roy of Farrukhabad Gharana since 1999, who learnt of Pandit Shankar Ghoshji.
Rohan joined SAMYO in 2004 as a tabla player. SAMYO is the only National Indian Classical Youth Orchestra in UK (South Asian Music Youth Orchestra). The orchestra tours around the UK playing peices composed by well known artists such as Pandit Debashish Bhattcharya, Shri Ganesh & Shri Kumaresh, Pandit Deepak Chaudhuri, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Shri Bikram Ghosh, Shri U Shrinivas, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, Smt Veenai Jayanti etc...
He also created an 80 minute instrumental Sai Bhajan CD for Sai Baba's 80th birthday. The 22 track CD comprises of mixes of keyboard, guitar, harmonium and tabla.
Rohan has taken part in many competitions and has been fortunate to win :

Rohan has performed around 100 concerts in the UK and Mumbai ranging from solo, duet, group and in SAMYO on stage, TV and radio.
Some of the auditoriums he has performed in are Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Prempuri Ashram (Mumbai) to name a few.
